Battery looks great, until I did some searching and the only datasheet I can find for "Great Power 100Ah" cells is showing 2000 cycles to 80% state of health - and that's at a 0.2C rate. Ouch!
Dear friend, thank you so much for such a useful review of this battery! 🍺🍺
Thank you for sharing! 👍❤️🙏🇺🇸
Can't ask for much more then that! Quality battery and affordable.
Is it possible that a switch is required for the heater. That would give you the ability to deactivate that feature if you were trying to charge in the cold with sparse solar energy. The heater could discharge the battery faster than the solar could replenish it. At that point it would be better to just get all the use you could from the battery and not try to charge it until you had better sun. Just a thought.
Boy, too bad you couldn't get the heating port to work. I'm guessing like you said it's some setting inside the BMS. We could just see how excited you were to test that!
May need to be setup in the bms software to turn on heat
What kind of battery monitor are you using? I like the App interface...
Hook a charge current to the battery at low temp. It will trigger the heat?
I bought this exact battery from Redodo last week. I had it fully charged with my Noco Genius 10 but it is only holding voltage at 12.93v.
But will it do 300amp for 5 seconds ???
