For the good ending, take the plastic bottle from hospital's kitchen and use it to take some mysterious red liquid from the director's office floor. Later use it on Cibyl when she gone all cray-cray at you. Also after exiting the first sewer level, do a little side quest in and around the motel and bar to save dr.Kaufman to get the good+ ending.
Dude I just played silent hill 1 like a month ago and I got the same route and ending lmao. Despite the fucking birds and those things that suck you up, it's an amazing game, it's got great characters, a well done horror and suspense atmosphere, a memorable soundtrack and for the time of the game it looks too good for ps one. I highly recommend to play it if you haven't already and for you who made the video try to give the "new years" version or "new game+" a try, you get several items including a katana in the dog house which is insanely OP but also increases the difficulty of the game each time you end it but hey it's worth taking out the 4 remaining endings. Nice video btw I'll wait the rest of silent hill games
