Steven Taylor if everyone who wanted to compete on wod immediately got through to the qualifiers, then they would last forever. There needs to be some sort of pre-audition so that way they aren't wasting time and money when filming and they know that the competition will actually be filled with some of the greatest dancers in the world. Every other broadcasted competition in the world does it. Only difference is that ones like x factor or american idol sometimes let people who can't sing through, for the entertainment of the viewers.
It's sad how mostly only fellow dancers appreciate their intricacy, difficulty and complexity. Most viewers and fans overlook the strength, power, control, intelligence and creativity to create a performance as powerful as this one.
