I was thinking the same! That garlic is so beautiful. I'm sure from looking it's a hard neck garlic I grow some but I'm super jealous mine rarely grow that huge! But it has the pretty purple paper covering the cloves.

I've been a garden junkie for many years (I'm 57 so yup- old lol) and I love heirloom type veggies, the ones people have been growing by handing the seeds down from generation to generation. I love Asian eggplants compared to Italian due to the fact they almost never get bitter or gross tasting. I grow about 4 types of garlic too. 1 type was brought to the US with my grandmother from Germany. It looks close to the type shown. The cloves around a hard stem so that's why I said hardneck garlic. Its not like the white Italian garlic with the soft neck. Watching them enjoy eating all the produce she grows or neighbors/market grow got me through some rough times health wise. Once I got better I've even cooked some of the recipes shown on this channel. My family loved them. The only change is a tad less chili as I can't have the super hot stuff yet and my young grandchildren can't eat it yet either. I have also, since subbing to this channel last year -studied and wrote veg names down as much as possible and I found another youtube lady here in the US that has many of these wonderful veggie seeds for sale and I ordered them. So far they are getting ready to go in the garden soon and I cant wait to try. I bought celtuse which I'd never seen before and the one huge cabbage that I've seen here on her channel and several cucumbers and the skinny purple string eggplant. And about 4 different pak choi/bok choi /pechay(spelling?) And some big red mustard that has a quick hot Wasabi bite/kick to it. In some ways between the cancer and the friggen pandemic, it really let me learn all these wonderful cooking and recipes that I might never have found otherwise. I'm afraid I'm a "the glass is half full" kinda gals, the "theres always a silver lining thing" lol I know the world is so messed up right now between covid and politics but watching so many of the videos of just normal day to day cooking and living make me want to visit every area in China and Korea and Japan then on to the Philippines and down to Australia and then who knows where. Any idea where to buy a good lottery ticket? Lol
