In my AU, everyone is actually aware(currently) about the genocide timelines and how Sans had to suffer...so they technically wouldn't react much, besides, my AU is focused on Alex and Chara more than anything, but Alex does understand what Sans felt, besides...Sans wasn't the only one to have to watch their sibling die over and over again due to PLAYER...
@@punsarebest8983 That isn't Canon to my AU, since I based my AU mostly off of the Canon Undertale Universe...and Alex would have known regardless due to his mastery of psychic magic and Mind reading abilities, and even then, Alex is kinda like the Batman of the Multiverse, not necessarily the strongest...but one of the most intelligent as well as a perfect investigator or detective
first of all chara is evil, she's not the main villain but still evil, don't ship, it's disgusting, there's no such a thing as "AU" you need better "excuses" for use this term.

Chara is very much evil in canonical Undertale, and does various things from manipulation, attempting to kill humans, and erasing all remaining life after the genocide ending.
