Btw, about the frustration of the characters not shooting the zombies in the head first, I recently saw a comment made by someone who was in the military saying its actually part of training, you are to shoot the enemy first to immobilize them. A headshot is last resort. Maybe it helps make it less annoying 😅.
The first three movies are pretty great and have good Easter eggs to the games but if you just like Alice killing things then yes keep watching. The last few are pretty convoluted but yes to the first 3

Recommend to watch the entire series They have absolutely NOTHING to do with Resident Evil outside of a few character names and the fact zombies are in it, and they get more stupid with each consecutive sequel, but a lot of them are the "so stupid they're dumb fun" kind. Don't look for continuity, there's barely any (often the continuity gets broken between the movies), there's retcons everywhere, but they're still a lot of fun My personal favorites are 2, 3 and 4 for their stylistic choices, after that it kinda fell flat for me

The sequels literally parachute in characters from the games (with very little introduction) and expect you to know/like/dislike them based on the way they are in-game and shove them into Alice’s storyline. They’re fun as dumb action movies where Alice kicks ass, but it’s like watching someone play a video game with Milla Jovovich as the avatar, side quests and all.

Characters die and return - with the stupid plot device "bEcAusE cLoNe." It is truly a disaster of a franchise. The director just wanted to make movies filming his wife (Alice) doing hot action shit.

The triology is descent, but the rest of the franchising kinda goes in a bad zone, but they are very intertaining.
