Quran mentions this man as Qaroon and he was from the people of Musa (as) and he was among the slaves of Israelites but he was spying for the government that is the Pharaoh and he was informing everything who is doing whatto keep tabs from the inside. So he acted as security cameras during that time. After that Nouman Ali Khan tells a story when he was being spied. He after that explains that This man Qaroon made a lot of money as he was selling his people. And as a result of this he got so much of Wealth and he just got multiple vaults and those vaults were so big that he has to hire strong men to carry the log that used to serve as lock 🔒 for the vault. So the main point is Allah not only describes this sellout but He also teaches us about him so this Khutbah is going to be about the advice that is so timeless that Allah gave and Allah saw it fit that untill the day of judgement we should be reciting this advice which means this is timeless advice. So this story isn't about one person this is a story about a kind of person, a type of person and it isn't even what he was doing with the Pharaoh and all of that but it is actually about what goes on in his head.
