    RUclips reccomended this to me because I watch a lot of sewing channels and holy shit, this is amazing. I never thought about how they render clothing. This is blowing my mind

    Hi, beginner here! I don't take warnings well and decided to push forward. Holy CRAP you went fast. Thankfully, RUclips has the option to slow down the video, and I'm proud to say I finished the dress!!! Though, you're right....I want to hit you! lol JK Thanks for such a great tutorial!!!

    Hi, great dress. I have a question. Do you think the models from marvelous designer can be used as skins in GTA5 or Fivem?

    • @FabMat0
      @FabMat0  Год назад

      No idea how skin things work, sorry!

    How did you make the waistband curve around the model (3:33). Thanks for the tutorial btw!

    • @FabMat0
      @FabMat0  Год назад +1

      See those blue dots? Those are arrangement points.. Press shift f (by default) to show.. And then select the pattern on 2d window and just hover your mouse on any of those arrangement points (in this case on the waist) and you'll have it.
      I hope it helps.

    I feel dumb for not thinking of using a circle for the bottom part. I would have used 2 squares patched together x) So that alone is a nice tip thanks

      No problem. Glad that helps.

    First day user and thought pssh I can follow a video and nope you must be using hotkeys for everything since I didn't even see you switch to sewing modes before you finished that part. Beautiful dress though.

    How come the top garment does not stretched or go down because of the skirt weight?

    • @FabMat0
      @FabMat0  6 месяцев назад

      interesting question, I mostly freeze the top portion while working on the skirt, and vice versa.
      Oftentimes, I also assign new fabric to the skirt and make the density 0.

      @@FabMat0 Thank you so much for the reply. It really helps a lot! Do you probably just pin or Attach to Measure when recording with the animation?

    • @FabMat0
      @FabMat0  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@misia2493 If density doesnt work, then yes.

    hi, sorry for this question, but how to you resize the elipse to center? everytime I try it goes wrong (4:06)

    • @FabMat0
      @FabMat0  Год назад +2

      Select the outer part of the eclipse (by double clicking on one of the segments) with "Transform point / segment tool" - there you can find a yellow dot in the middle - double click it to activate pivot - now drag the point (of the pivot) to resize it equally..
      And please don't be sorry! you can ask anything related to any videos..
