Glad you went to Australia and had some good RC fun. I hope you had a nice meat pie and sausage roll from a bakery and also some good aussie fish n chips.
Overall not a bad layout and it was doing well except for the large jump right in front of the drivers stand. The one was not the best setup for all cars. I feel tracks should be fun for all and that jump looked like it would punish everyone that was not super fast out there!
Wow, thanks for the video, I started driving there with my Frog in the late 80's, best memories, so many cool cars were there, I especially remember the Mugen Bulldogs, those cage cars were a whole new world to me. I loved climbing the stairs and standing up on the platform. Wow, cheers Keith! And kinda bummed to see it now, Cheers from this Aussie in China!
Trx 🤩 thats a great looking track, its a shame its now carpet, but i understand these things need to happen. I just love dirt or grass 😁 zx looked great out on track but OMG, i want a storm 2000 so badly now haha
Nice work Keith. A track near me has has a clay/dirt track forever but just recently they've re-done their track (still dirt) and put some kind of sealant over the top of it. The sealant apparently degrades over time and you get it re-done. It's called sic surface.
The Chargers RC club in Brisbane has the Sic surface, it's pretty cool but looks really abrasive. Keilor oils their surface to add traction and control dust. That was a super fun day Keith, I really enjoyed the track even though it wasn't the famous St. Ives dirt. As Keith mentioned, some may have spilled into my luggage :)

Had all 3 and enjoyed them very much!
@rcicons4915 happy to hear that, pitty. It's not summer. The weather is nice and hot.
Cool mannnnnnnnnnmnnn

Awesome looking track, definitely seams like the car sticks like glue.
I am stoked to see you with a XX amazing machine as you know. St Ives would be amazing just to see in person. Thanks 😊

I wouldn't be surprised if those little vials of St. Ives dirt would sell on eBay... As long as the return address was in Australia, of course.
lol
Not a bad idea!
Like the track & your tires are Velcro!
Looks like a good track, I've never driven on a carpet track but I'm sure there's a learning curve getting used to such high traction.

No kidding. I know that Kelog oils their track. Might be the same surface.
