Eating a mostly carnivore diet, I find keeping my electrolytes in balance is essential. I know some viewers don't like "commercials," but I appreciate it when like-minded content shares product information that could be helpful to me. Thanks, Rebecca, for sharing your wealth of knowledge in the pursuit of optimum health, especially in the fight against chronic health issues. Not every product works for everyone, but I love finding those that work for me.
I have been using Redmond products because of the fit farmer. I have used the toothpaste, clay body talc and their salt. I used their popcorn salt on Saturday and it is great.
I use Redmond’s salt, I did not know they had such a variety of other products. I’m glad they asked you to sponsor them. Thank you for doing this for them. Can’t wait to visit their product lines.
My daughter is a dentist. She makes her own tooth powder, with bentonite clay. I use bentonite clay, apple cider vinegar, and aloe for a great face mask.
Hey there. Living in CA we are subject to Prop 65 warnings. So, when I went on the Redmond's website to order, everything that has Bentonite Clay in it, also contains certain amounts of lead. But, read the frequently asked questions bar for Remonds and it explains very well the concerns regarding the lead content.
Not all electrolyte drinks are created equal. If you’re working out for an hour or less, regular H20 will do. But if you’re exercising upwards of 75 minutes or more (or if it’s very hot out), then an electrolyte drink with sodium, potassium, and magnesium is a good idea during or after your work out. Love Redmond's! Even took clay with us on a plane vacation because I didn't want to be without it. Ended up getting a bad stovetop burn, put some clay on it, wrapped it, and went to the theme park anyway. Was insanely glad I spent the precious suitcase room on it after that!
We've used plain baking soda with erythritol for toothpaste for years. It works so well our dentist now uses it. Very cheap. Tried bentonite clay and you do swallow some and made my wife and I very sick. We thought we had the flu and realized it was the clay. It's very absorbent and detoxifying so use with caution.
We use only Redmond's salt. We love it! Glad they approached you. ❤ We just received another 10lb bucket ourselves. We do plan on getting a 25lb bag soon, because it's cheaper and we use plenty of salt ourselves, being that we eat keto and cook or own foods.

I add herbs and spices into the brine mix so those flavors are pulled into the meat with the salt and water. I frequently use thyme, black pepper, allspice, cloves, cinnamon, lemon, lime or orange. Pork can also be brined for extra flavor and moisture. I use a quarter cup per gallon of salt.

Hey, I didn't realize it, but my pickling salt is Redmonds. US based, whoo hoo! Do you know what exactly is the red residue that settles out when you dissolve it in water? I've been assuming rock dust from the salt deposit, but would not want explosive residue if that's used mining it.
We've tried Redmond's salt and we don't like it due to the small pieces of gravel that you come across now and then, and we're always worried we might crack a tooth or crack a filling. Redmond's says the tiny pieces of grit/gravel are unavoidable. We're going back to Himalayan sea salt, which we prefer the taste of as well.

The Great Salt Lake in Utah is part of a huge ocean salt deposit from millions of years ago. Quick medical note re drinking extra sodium, potassium on a regular: *NOT FOR EVERYONE*. Sodium tends to pull water into the body. Over time it can cause high blood pressure. For people with existing hypertension, heart failure, kidney impairment.. this excess can create a major overload and a major problem. Excess of potassium in someone with kidney failure can be fatal. To the best of my knowledge in general during an intense sports game or such a bit of extra electrolytes are reasonable, otherwise on a daily, generally the body pulls from what is already in our diet.
