Loved the vlog! They’re my favourite to watch 😍 Also super excited about your transitional fashion hauls to come! Autumn is my favourite time for fashion and styling. How cool will that new bag look with knitwear 🌟
Great video as always. That bag 😍😍😍😍 love at first sight is a thing!!! Well at least with bags it is! You 100% did the right thing getting the bag, you work hard and despite the reno you deserve it. Plus look at it 😍😍 how could you not 😍 I never shop on river island but i saw that brown co ord and fell in love. It looks amazing on you. I love all of your purchases apart from the last dress. Maybe try it in an xs because i getbthe vibe you were going for. Another brill vlog. Always love when you post. From a fellow people pleaser just take 5 mins before replying and offering. Its a difficult habit to break. Lovr you xxxx
I'm a new watcher and I have noticed a few things about your vlogs. You are such a lovely lady but you put yourself down far too much. I used to do it too and my self esteem took a thorough beating from it not to mention it made me have quite a negative outlook on life. I'm on the other side of it now and life is really sweet and joyful for me these days. I pray you come to a place where you don't do that to your lovely self anymore too ❤️.
So is a clothes dryer not the norm? Sorry, I’m very American and we all usually have a washer and a dryer. Your house is going to be gorgeous…and a wonderful forever home. 😍💗
Yeah it's not the norm. Most people in the UK have a clothes horse or a clothes line where they air dry clothing. Tumble driers have definitely become more popular but a lot of people still don't use them
Everyone I know in the uk has and uses a tumble drier at least during the months when you can’t hang washing out to dry so I thought it was an odd comment!
@@allpicturenosound we also use a clothes horse but we call it a clothes rack or drying rack for things you don’t want ruined in the dryer. Thanks for the info.
@@cmyers6755 that’s interesting…we do use clothes horses but we call them drying racks or clothes racks. But we just use them for things we don’t want ruined by the dryer. So you all actually hang clothes out to dry outside?
There are lots of people that have them but in smaller kitchens or rented houses they're definitely NOT the norm. Especially in the south where the houses are smaller (yet still extiortionate) a lot of people don't have the space (or if you're moving house every year due to renting it's just not always worth owning one - in a city it gives you way less flexibility when picking your next place). Our kitchen was designed before we bought it and wasn't designed with space for a dryer so we've decided to make space for one elsewhere!
You know we all need a little dose of chaotic Suzie! Your house is about to look even more incredible! So happy for you two & Nala to get more space in the abode!
Of course you need to have your renovation to suit your needs and desires, but I do have some ideas you can use or completely disregard! Whatever suits! Based on my experience and perspective, I think you may want to keep that door to your utility room and put up a wall to separate the utility room from the “new, open archway to the narrower hallway leading to the stairs”. My concern would be always seeing laundry drying, listening to the washing machine and future dryer. Creating a little room with a door to shut off all those utilitarian tasks could be invaluable! It would provide you with another wall of storage solutions/Butler pantry area for serving pieces and kitchen appliances you don’t want living on countertops in your open concept kitchen. Part pantry for food bits, if desired. Perhaps a hanging rod for drip-dry clothing or some pull down drying racks from the ceiling. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️So many possibilities for everything necessary in life, but not exactly a decorator item you want to be seen! Love to hide those utilitarian things away from view whenever desired! I would keep the hallway with the open arch to your stairs minimal with a coat closet under the stairs for Wellies and Ryan’s outerwear! Or if visual clutter doesn’t distress you too much, some hooks along the wall for guest coats and frequently used jackets or sweaters for popping outside with the puppers! Personally I don’t do visual clutter well and prefer a closet for coats and jackets. But many people like a mud room/boot room and don’t mind things on hooks being visible. Personally, I would forego the hooks and hang a fabulous lighting fixture as indicating an important path to the stairs! Perhaps use that new wall on the stair side as a gallery wall full of fabulous art! I would also include some sort of air conditioning in your loft rooms for those weeks of unbearable heat you usually get in the Summer! Not only does heat rise and the upstairs will be like a furnace, but with a bedroom and bath being a cool escape, might make surviving those several weeks of living on the surface of the sun, more bearable! I live in the middle portion of the USA and we aren’t supposed to be crazy hot like the South but today was 108F with a feels like temperature of 122F! 🥵🥵🥵 The thought of not having access to air conditioning freaks me out. Even if I lived in the cooler temperatures of the UK I would still use my AC to remove the humidity from the air! Even when it’s not actually hot, it can be very sticky and humid with all your rain! Nobody needs that if they find it uncomfortable. Set the temperature for whatever you like but get rid of the sticky, muggy air! 😁😘🥰 Just a few thoughts you can take or leave! No matter how you choose to make this reno fit your life, I’m thrilled you are getting much more space to suit your lifestyle! Enjoy the process of creating a new living environment and I hope you get to the less dusty portion of the show soon! Hang in there! 🥰🥰🥰
I don’t speak English very well but I would try to say you that your style is so lovely ❤ bye! (Hoping I don’t have made too many grammatical errors 😂😂😂)
