Origin:
Proximal 2/3 of Posterior Surface of the Tibia, Fibula and Interosseous Membrane
Insertions:
1-2nd, 3rd, 4th Metatarsals
2-Navicular Tuberosity
3-All Three Cuneiforms
4-Cuboid
5-Calcaneus
Functions:
1-Plantar Flexion of the Foot @ the Ankle Joint
2-Inversion of the Foot @ the Subtalar Joint
Nerve:
Tibial Nerve
Activation: (Prone) Plantar Flexion with Inversion of the Foot
Lengthening: (Supine) Dorsiflexion with Eversion of the Foot
