Thank you for all the videos and the knowledge appreciated as always. I was able to fine advent calendar and mega box of topps hoilday at game stop today. I was shock it was in there. Opening it up later tonight
Soto will be in a Yankee uniform for series 1. The one year anniversary of him being traded to the Yankees was several days ago and except for a short print he appeared as a Padre in series one this year.
The design is pretty good. Most will hate it, but older collectors will understand its reasoning. Topps Flagship products will have a 20-30% increase in price. With Fanatics introducing the new game used autos and more inserts this coming year, price will go up. Also a few inserts are gone and some inserts from the late 90s and early 2000’s return.
Well since my Juan soto theory went tits up... Here's a rather crazy but not impossible but highly unlikely but hear me out. Okay, here's a crazy, wild situational outcome for the 2025 baseball season: The Oakland Athletics win the World Series with a team made entirely of players from the Dominican Republic. Here's how it could happen: * The Tank Job: The A's, known for their recent struggles and budget cuts, decide to fully embrace the tank, trading away all their major league talent for prospects. * The Dominican Pipeline: The team's scouting department, focused on the Dominican Republic, has been quietly building a powerhouse farm system filled with incredibly talented young players. * A Breakout Season: Several of these prospects, including a flame-throwing pitcher and a power-hitting shortstop, have breakout seasons, surprising everyone with their skills and maturity. * The Playoff Push: The A's, fueled by their young talent and underdog mentality, make a surprising playoff run, defeating more established teams along the way. * The World Series Triumph: In a dramatic World Series matchup, the A's, with their all-Dominican lineup, overcome all odds to clinch the championship, shocking the baseball world and inspiring a new generation of fans. This scenario is highly unlikely, but it's fun to imagine the chaos and excitement it would create!
The baseball season is over, Fanatics/Topps should have released all there 2024 products by the end of the playoffs & cancel all the products that have not been released yet for this year. The Mets card of Juan Soto can wait until series 2 in 2025. Topps should hold off on cards for players who are free agents, traded or released for series 2.
My favorite design is the 1987. That wood grain boarder takes me back.

If it’s anything like the 1990 Topps design… well then I guess I can live with it again lol.
Walmart has 2024 Topps Factory Sets on their website for 32.99.

Print runs will be up for series 1 I'm sure 😂
The Chicago Cubs will win the World Series! The Cy Young will be Shota Imanaga!⚾
Bold prediction: Either Reds or Pirates win NL Central. My Cards again miss playoffs as they ‘retool.’
