Honestly, DRVN.Daniel said it correctly. Your channel, Larry, has become a pinnacle goal for car builds. When I think of the modern equivalent to Super Street, Import Tuner, Honda Tuning, etc., all the classic dream car magazines for me growing up, the only two things that come to mind are your channel and Jay Leno's Garage. If a car/build ends up here or there, you know it's something special.
I'd rather have a Larry Chen YT feature with 500k subscribers, than a 2M+ car 'entertainment' channel feature. Some enjoy the antics, and some prefer the build story without the drama.
From the exterior, to the interior this car is fucking NUTS! The podium seats, the quick release steering wheel with steering wheel buttons fully functional and no error codes on the dash 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 great job on this car.
This is hands the the best G82 M4 I have ever seen ! Great coverage as always Larry and Daniel is such a humble creator. I am grateful that he shares his creations once again through your channel 🙏
It's nice to not have to be OBLIGATED to major corporate sponsors that force you to build in a rigid lane. I like to build things I enjoy. If sponsors want to be a part of that - then AWESOME. But if they don't see an opportunity to partner on that project - then AWESOME. Still going to enjoy building things that "speak" to me.
First off, Larry, Always a pleasure from one car guy to another. Second, this dude just loves to create epic builds and he seems super humble.Insane ride!
Jesus H Christ!,. This car is a work of art. I never liked wide-body builds but this one is so natural, it is actually really beautiful. The front end is perfection and the lines flows so naturally to the sides and even the side-skirts are not hideous but actually very subtle. The tail end and the wing is really very tastefully done without looking tacky. The only thing I dislike are the rear diffusers which are too squarish. I would prefer smooth more rounder edges around the tail pipes!.
What a Fantastic looking Body kit !!!! it looks like the complete renovated version of BMW E30 Riieger Sport body kit ! Congratulations to DRVNmind/Adro you guys nailed it .
@@bryanaltamirano3718 relax champ, everyone has right to voice their opinion mate, I've followed TJ's builds for years, a simple comment on both builds if you don't like the comments then I suggest you move on, quite simple.
I'm impressed at the fitment of all of these carbon parts by ADRO. Then again a lot of it is probably the touch of Daniel. I can't even get a decent fitment on my dang seibon trunk and hood :(
I know that shift stick is a CAE German short shifter because I have one in my 2018 fk8 Honda Civic Type R and also recognize the knob with a hole for an Allen bolt. Except I put on a custom titanium gradient heat colored knob.
Love this M4! Got to correct the owner regarding the Ferrari F40. It's not that Ferrari F40s have so little paint that you can see the weave, you can see the weave because the paint has sunk over the decades. The classic car specialist Iain Tyrell talked to a paint expert about it on his channel. 👍
I think it's a combination of all the above. Dry carbon panels with very little resin naturally will have a more textured surface than a wet laid carbon which has tons of resin to encapsulate the carbon weave. So you're already starting with a panel that has texture. But both primer and paint can "shrink" over time due to age. The shrinkage can then reveal the texture as well. I had a Lamborghini Huracan Vorsteiner bumper which was painted by a very reputable shop. It was glassy smooth for about 13 months. Then slowly you could start seeing the carbon "print through" as the paint cured and shrank.
He’s right about car RUclipsrs & their antics. I can’t watch these childish morons rolling on the ground laughing maniacally, constantly yelling & posting the same garbage daily. Larry’s approach is an honest window into contemporary car culture & that’s why I love his channel.
There's a time and place for everything. Sometimes you just NEED fun automotive ENTERTAINMENT. But sometimes you want automotive feature/editorial piece.
It's a beautiful build but the grand total is eye watering. Personally I'd just get a Porsche GT2/3 for that much money. The 5 grand for the non-wide body Adro front end is probably worth it though, completely fixed the g8x front-end.
You're absolutely correct. The "need" for a roll cage in an air ride/daily is not necessarily. But Studio RSR is a great partner and I wanted to show love by showcasing their roll cage into this project. Sometimes things are done with purposeful use. Sometimes things are done to help your friends/partners in the project.
It’s why the GT race cars look so much better (still not good) than the street cars. I’ve been saying this since this car came out, it’s not just an ugly grille, so much of the proportional relationships of these cars is off.
Why hasn't anybody come up with a roll cage system that you can still retain the back seat I'm pretty sure you can put some cross members on the top and bottom and still be able to retain the seat you just have to go through top of the deck of the backseat that's all.
It has to do with proper triangulation and how the bars meet up at the structure points. You can kick the rear legs out high and bend them to go through the rear deck but it would become more of a visual showcase than a safety item.
Absolutely stunning. I’m in love with Adro’s Supra kit and desperate to get it for my own car. Wonder if they would like to sponsor me with my huge 500 followers? 😂 Also big thumbs up for Daniels comment about your channel Larry. There’s nothing quite like your channel in the way you dive into every facet of car culture. The modern day enthusiast magazine.
My first thought when he mentioned there was no application for the particular toyo tire was... he's forgetting about rear wheel wells on 370z's lol. (Happy owner)
This isn't paint. This is Inozetek Dynamic PPF Emerald Green. But I do love that people mistake it for paint which is a testament to the quality of the product.
I do leverage shops for simple bolt on items that help me free up MY time for things on the build I focus on. Juggling 5 projects means you only have so many hours in your day. Bolting on exhaust, intake, coilovers can be done by my partners/shops. But fitting aero, prepping panels, coordinating and managing 5 projects, and all the custom elements (like marrying the ADRO swan neck wing to CSL trunk and creating the reinforcement plates) are the things I choose to focus my time on. :)
Hot take but widebody has become the underglow and chrome light housing of the 2020's, not every build needs to be widebody. The front fascia on this kit does look good tho

That guy seems like a really passionate and genuine car dude
Being featured by Larry Chen is definitely the pinnacle
Larry YT features today were my older "Super Street/Import Tuner" cover feature dreams come true.
Such a poetic way of putting it,
"Getting a cover photo, feature" was everything
Larry's YT channel is the pinnacle for a builder's car to be showcased in my opinion.
Larry Chen is the best.....
I miss paper but Larry is my new goal...
The dude’s explanation of Larry at the beginning was dead on.
This looks way better then tj hunts m4😭
100% I agree 👍🏽
No bap
Eh, I prefer the GT3 inspired M4 since the M4 GT3 is the only good looking version of the car, lol.
Big faxxx 😂
💯
Interesting to see someone with his poise and sharp way of speaking in the car building space
Thanks for taking time to film this one - it’s a great project. Bold
Stunning awesome build, the best M4 build I've seen so far.

I SUCK at RUclips. LOL. I'm grateful that Larry and his teams let me do "show and tell" as frequently as he lets me.
The wide body fenders just flows with the cars lines so seamlessly the car is beautiful to look at.
I love the words from Mr. Song "I'm still a grassroots builder". That is sick!
Thank you!!!

TJ Hunt gonna be pissed 😂😂😂
Different type of build tbf.
i rather have this over TJs.
I'd rather have a stock bodied M4 🤣 @@andrewle18
This is awesome Daniel Song and Larry Chen, this is champ!!! Props to you!!
Daniel always has such bangers
Damn Daniel !
God I love the looks of the steering wheel in such a modern car, I swear it is less and less common nowadays.

I live in Munich and see lots of well-executed BMWs, but this one is actually a piece of art
best wide body for this model plus the fitment is gold.
Holy moly.
And the owner seems like such a great dude too
Thank you for the kind words.
This is insane. Car show for sure. Definitely not a daily or weekend car. This a business statement.
What a Fantastic looking Body kit !!!! it looks like the complete renovated version of BMW E30 Riieger Sport body kit ! Congratulations to DRVNmind/Adro you guys nailed it .
This suits the new BMW design sooooo well
literally screamed *pfffffffft* 2G'S to overnight that front lip. my lord thats crazy
Thanks for the inspiration. Those Adro kits are just amazing.
This is the best looking bmw. Wow
Definitely looks better than TJs car IMO I know its totally different but the shape of the car is better than the GT3 kit TJ had to work with !
There are some ugly lines on this kit. The GT3 kit is designed for pure performance and looks as such
@@charleshazen5779 TJ's car prob performs like shit funny enough lol
TJ car is based of the GT car though. Totally different.
@@FrAndR0iD do u not read before commenting ? LIKE I SAID BEFORE I KNOW THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT DUH !
@drvnmind 🥰🥰🥰 Can't wait to see it with my own eyes!
wow, thats a modern car done to perfection, very cool
Amazing build! IND really came through too!
I need that searing wheel setup!! Great build 👌
i know its 2 different style but i would take is any day of the week over Tjs. Twice on sunday.
This pretty much takes away the last bits of me not liking the new M3/M4 front end. This car is really nice!
i would prefer this over TJ's 4x4 M4
Best m4 ive seen
This looks heaps nicer than TJ hunts GT3 kit, much better fit.
Good thing TJ didn’t build HIS car for you. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you have to hate both builds are pretty cool

The wheel fit and gap on TJs messes the whole car up
You ripping in the porsche was sick!
That Beamer was one of kind ….AKA

This makes tj junts look like the wish version
😂
To be honest this 1 look good👌👌👌👌👌👌
I had to return and saw tj M4 and compared. To me this car its way more beautiful, elegant, i love it!
This car is insane
Master piece

Very best of styling. Congrats👍
Insane build sheesh 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

really awesome build

Did the car have the "M Performance" suspension beforehand? I thought that kit also had red springs and was lower than stock?

Wunderschön 😍
All zinc hardware would look amazing in this bay
Love it 😎

This car is amazing
Hey Larry are you using a Pixel phone too?
Hands down looks better than TJ’s car, however TJ builds amazing cars but M4 to M4 this takes it 😊
@Tjhunt gonna need this kit ASAP🤫..since his kit looks terrible but he thinks it looks fantastic 😂💨
You couldn't put the car on an open trailer hitch it to a truck or was the car still too wide?
Not huge on BMW personally, but this build looks real noice
Holy shit that actually looks good. I never liked the new M4 until just now.
Ah, so the way to make the huge grill look good is with equally huge arches. Makes sense really!
It’s why the GT race cars look so much better (still not good) than the street cars. I’ve been saying this since this car came out, it’s not just an ugly grille, so much of the proportional relationships of these cars is off.
