@@whatwhatwhatwhat802 problem is that it's hard to build magic defense early game instead of building core items. This is also why magic damage heroes, especially magic damage junglers are usually extremely strong in early game. Enemies would have to build magic defense instead of core items while magic heroes early game core items have high magic power or even penetration stats.
