I watched this one several times and it get's me through all the feels. Sometimes it's hilarious, sometimes frightening, instilling passion, sadness. I must say in the end it always hurts. It kind of questions if I'm in the right place. Which is a good thing, I suppose. My main thought during this time is "Why do we need to function? Why do we need to fit into this hell?" The answers are dark and nothing will soothe me. Thank you for being a shining light in this monotonous machine.
I fell in love with the music of late Sneaker Pimps and early IAMX. Truly. I love the emotion and the dark synths. Just as with many creators who embrace the dark side of mental anguish and the gnarly, gritty analogue world of synths and "industrial" vibes, the music speaks to me but as soon as the visual aspect is introduced, I'm left wondering if I've somehow misconstrued the ethos. I'm probably better off avoiding the visual content from now on. It's not aimed at me. I love the music.
Congratulations to you on this great new release! The "I'm alive!" part really hits with particular emotional force, and the voice just soars! I also definitely liked in the intro instrumental music.

Cant wait for this new album. Amazing stuff, Dark and Energetic along with etherial lyrics.
This gets deeper and more full of meaning each time I watch it with attention to the lyrics, and on a foundation of interpreting the wrestling women (no color) as the mirror and the poison he sees in his reflection. Sure, they are moving erotically, but they _look_ angry and scary and frightening. Then, the two (in color) hold him on a leash, underfoot, and holding him back. The scene where he gazes up at the one woman's vag with... what is that look on his face? A trepidation? Watching an accident just about to happen? Or is it an awe? This is where I came from. Is this a song about breaking free from narcissism and self-absorption? "Oh Mirror! Give me back my time! We can be anything we want to be. I AM ALIVE! I AM ALIVE!".... "Say it to yourself!" i.e. I am not what I see in the mirror, or don't have to be that.

hi there - hope anyone can help me. i pre ordered the album 7th april - but the shop i have got forwarded - seems not to be correctly....i have open a case now.... re ordered now 13th may directly at imaxshop - hope this works - looks almost like the confirmation i have got from the other shop, digital album not working it says there...(was included)....i just want - no neeed - this album....hope i get it...."worst" case 2x .... bandcamp is sold out - wish i have done it there... what do i do wrong??? i am confused....thx for any help - my collection cannot miss this album...

This. I’ve been a fan of IAMX since my teens, and even though I can love certain of his songs and expression, the very palpable hollow in his being disturbs me to be around or look at very long. It’s in his eyes, face, lyrics, energy. This is coming from someone not easily disturbed and no stranger to the darkness. He’s always seemed a bit narcissistic as well. Something is very “off” with this person. I hope peace and contentment for IAMX one day. Still, I guess we can say
Glory to the pain that resulted in art that has resonated for millions of us. I still think it’s a triumphant thing worthy of respect to have the kind of hollow Chris has and be able to turn it out into prolific creativity.

Damn, it was worth staying up until the middle of the night to see this! Beautiful and sooo hot. I love the voice, I love the music, I love the visuals. The whole video is a turn on for me. 🖤
I am a long-time fan of IAMX and it was this video/track that I did not like, I will describe the reasons below.
1 - the video is similar to "surrender", but unlike it does not have an action-filled plot, the same thing happens in the frame, it's boring to watch. We have already seen "surrender", "quiet the mind", which shine.
2 - the sound feels too simple, like a pop song that we've heard too many. Having lost the melodic variety, the listener could concentrate on the vocals, but will not be able to because of the effect imposed on the vocals at 2:14.
As a result, I would prefer any earlier iamx track (including tracks with live performance) to this one. But maybe it will feel better as part of an album or live performance.
Late disclaimer: I don't want to offend the performer or be annoying, I'm just describing my own feelings.

Это так потрясающе и неожиданно видеоряд нереальный, и это сочетание цветов, фактур, текстур.. ах.. эстетика чем-то напомнила мне фильм "Аннигиляция" 🖤🤍💓🖤💓🤍💗 Недавно переслушивала старые альбомы IAMX , на которых я буквально росла, знатно кайфанула ну и прослезилась. И тут выходит новый невероятно крутой трек, который попал в настроение, не знаю, конечно о чём он дословно, но меня очень сильно тронул. Сейчас не самый лучший период моей жизни, и многие строки откликнулись так сказать, болью, борьбой и надеждой на светлое будущее.
