Hard Reset SAMSUNG Galaxy A12 - Bypass Screen Lock / Factory Reset by Recovery Mode

If this method doesn't work for you that means your phone is updated with android 11. It's only possible then by connecting the phone to a laptop via USB cable. Hold both power and volume up buttons and this will take you straight to the reset menu.

I followed your process and dunno why after the samsung word logo it reverted back to the first logo that says SAMSUNG GALAXY A12 under it would be the Powered by android. It stays for about 40 mins

I'm having some difficulty with Factory reset - I dont know if this is something you can help with. I do the volume down and power button combo then when the logo disappears I switch to volume up and wait. Rather than change to the android symbol I get another Samsung logo without the "Galaxy A12" below then boots normally if that makes sense. Sorry if Im doing something rather stupid here..
