I got 3 beetles 1300,1302,1303 the 3cars form part of my family its really very apart from others, I can feel how passion ,love these guys have wish you all the very best go ahead god will help.
This was the exact year and model of the first brand new car I ever bought. I was fresh out of college and in my new job in 1968 when I purchased it for $1,800.00, tax included. The color is almost the same as shown here. I think mine was a shade darker blue, or maybe my memory has dulled. I loved this car and drove it for 5 years putting on 100K before selling it for a larger vehicle. I became married with children over that 5-year period and it was too small for family use. I sure regretted seeing it go. . As the saying goes, "Thanks for the memories".
I paid $ 1,815.00 U.S. for mine. "All original" [ in 1968 [. It did have comfortable seats and got 28 mpg on the road cruising flat out at about 70mph or so. If it was really cold you froze yer ass off. Idrove mine across Canada ,wide open.
I own a 1968 beetle. I can't stand when people say how original their car is?? If you want an original, original beetle, that car better have been on blocks since 1968. All original means everything is original I would expect? I mean I have the original radio, black interior, windows etc, but not everything is tip top original. I still like your bug, but all old cars have a story.. it's ok for everything not to be told like this thing is worth a million dollars.
Come on...give him some breathing room...it's a restromod...oh and let Allan Leppert know he is dramatically wrong about bettles after 1967...it is the Super Beetles that don't command a price...I sold my restromod 1968 with low back seats versus the standard high backs for $21500 and 4300 on the odometer......yes 4300.
That is a sweet bug. I have never owned one but I have always wanted one since I was a kid. I was born in 68 so that would be the year for me. even if the engine blew tomorrow (I'm just saying) to go back stock like this would be relatively cheap.
@ Todays Skeptic Survivor car mean's it has never been restored and is all original, despite the odd's and years it did not rust out and need restoration. its pretty well as it was when it left the factory.
what the hell are you talking about? that car of fucking amazing. designed by Porsche for a Hitler's petition so figure out how long that car has been produce. I have wanted one of those all my life.
+Jon Saleen Oliphant The wheels are Western Bullet wheels. No longer produced. 15"x5.5" 4 x130mm lug pattern. You can still find them used fairly cheap.
Xe này đúng chất là cổ quá đẹp nhưng chỉ một kiến hậu như vậy chỉ chạy được ở nước ngoài chớ về VN bọn csgt nó canh me phạt hoài bằng tiền mua chiếc xe luôn.
Beautiful exterior - hideous interior
I bought a 68 at the factory in Wolfsburg. Owned it for 12 years and put on about 100k. Cost of operation was 2 cents per mile. Fun car.

The car looks good, but the redone interior does not.
Mark Rice. I'd switch out the interior to a black more stock looking interior.
But the exterior color & rims & stance is Exelent.
Whats the Shade of blue & code number, please thanks.

Western Bullet Wheels. No longer made.
What is the name of those wheel caps ... and how can i source a set of 4 like those ?
+Jon Saleen Oliphant The wheels are Western Bullet wheels. No longer produced. 15"x5.5" 4 x130mm lug pattern. You can still find them used fairly cheap.
This is 1600 cc ?
This would not be a surviver if it had a new interior and paint job
I would be afraid of it....
