Great review, Marc :) The video quality looks fantastic to me. Zooms very quickly when its not distracted by anything :) Even though Im not the biggest Star Wars fan out there, these figures looks great in my opinion. Head sculpts could have been alot better though, since these are so popular as they are. Star Wars has to be one of the biggest toy brands out there I would think. As a collector, I do only pose my figures once, so nice tight joints is a must have. The only figure I've got so far that is close to these figures, is the Play Arts Kai Ezio Master Assassin from the Assassin's Creed 2 game, and Play Arts Kai Agent 47 from the Hitman Absolution game. And honestly, I don't quite like the look on the knees when you bend them, so these kind of figures tend to end up in a museum pose. The knees looks so "square" and ruins a otherwise great look. But, hey... Maybe one day the toy designs will improve even further than they've already have, and these knees will look better in the future. All in all, a great review, Marc :) I enjoyed it to the very end ;)
Thanks so much Sven. I really appreciate it. Yeah, double jointed knees can look a bit weird when bent but I love the flexibility for poses. I'm someone that can leave a figure alone once it's on my shelf. I'm constantly reposing them and fiddling with them. Glad you dug the video.
Again another great review Marc. LOL at Tyrian Lannister!!! The Luke head definitely bears a likeness to him!! I don't think the heads are that bad to be honest, yeah they're not fantastic but compare those heads to the new Harbro Captain America Winter Soldier figure and LGE doesn't look anything like Chris Evans either. The sculpting of the figures overall is very good. The only things I don't like about Obiwan figure are the trigger hands. Makes no sense whatsoever. Thanks for sharing buddy, really enjoyed this.
Great review ! really enjoy it a lot ! I collect 3 3/4" vintage card star wars figures , both the obi-wan and luke head sculpt are far more better than these two !!
Hey Marc, great review! This is just my opinion, I love these 6" figures. I guess after spending so much on Hot Toys ($200.00 and up price range for a 12" figure) $20.00 for a figure half that size isn't so bad. I only have a couple of these so far but am looking forward to the rest if the line. Thanks for sharing buddy :) Bart.
I love this line too. Very much actually. I've stop collecting the 3 3/4" figures altogether and I love 6" scale figures so this line is a god-send for me. But I do feel they are over priced. I think $15 is a perfect price point for this line. But that's hard to justify to Hasbro when they've raised the price of their 3 3/4" figures to $10. Now Hasbro feels like they have to charge double that for double the figure. In the first waves, each figure came with a fair amount of accessories, extra heads and hands and such and the $20 felt more reasonable. But this wave and the next, it looks like Hasbro is dialing back the extras. We'll see how it goes. Mattel isn't doing much better. Their upcoming Batman The Animated Series 6" scale figures are going to be $24.99. That's Masters of the Universe Classics money right there.
I like the new camera setup it looks real nice keep up the good work
