  • Hope you guys enjoyed the video and I have a couple more coming with the assembly of the accessories. This company is an amazing company and they deserve more videos about how to use them so people will learn and get excited about taking care of their health. I hope I am able to do that for you guys and I am willing to answer any questions that you may have even if it has nothing to do about the IM2000. Thank you for watching
    Sorry I’m so slow on putting this together, if you were up to speed to make it a little faster. I also do some commentary during the video to explain some things better

      @@Fitforacting well I actually didn't know about Ironmaster until the start of the pandemic. Did some research on space saving home gym equipment and found their videos on RUclips and Sam's Fitness with Lee Priest demo's. I was sold immediately. Since then I've invested in their equipment. I currently own the Super Bench Pro along with attachments, v2 cable tower and the dumbbell spotters. Everything I've purchased from this company has yet to disappoint. I train alone most of the time so getting the self spotting machine was a no brainer. Also for the price it's very reasonable in my opinion for the quality you're getting. They made a very solid and universal machine, a few things could be done differently, but overall this machine is a beast.
    Getting into pulling position (sitting down)and trying to pull down for example 100kg can be quite annoying, especially after heavy leg workout 😏

    • @Fitforacting
      @Fitforacting  4 года назад +3

      Tomasz Golebiowski That’s true! I’m still warming up to the machine and getting used to it but I was thinking about doing lat pull downs from the bench with a strap around my legs and the bench to keep me down or something like that so I don’t have to get down on the floor

    • @redwhiteandblueblood
      @redwhiteandblueblood 4 года назад +1

      That is the main reason why I'm looking elsewhere on a rack and paying a bit more for a power rack and lat pulldown combo.
      Love the smith machine and plate storage incorporated in the IM2000, but felt the pulley system had flaws (sitting down as you mention and I'm a big guy too at 6"5 1/2) and the safeties for the half rack function were on the short side, safeties are too short on the IM1500 too, feel they need to be around 60cm give or take, not 40cm, it's ok to bench with, but I'd feel too cramped on the squat.
      Do love Ironmaster stuff but, loaded up on their adjustable dumbbells and kettlebells a few weeks ago. Will grab a super bench pro and a few bench attachments hopefully next year sometime, like the dumbbell spotting stands to save my shoulders/back getting 80 pound+ dumbbells into place. Probably also look at getting the ab crunch leg lock, preacher pad, leg curl/ext and the hypercore attachment.

    • @Fitforacting
      @Fitforacting  4 года назад +1

      redwhiteandblueblood sitting down on the floor, you might still be good doing the lat pulldowns at your height. But I think you would still need a taller rack. Doing pull-ups I think you knees would be close to the floor and the bar hooks on the rack would be too high that it would touch the smith bar. I will let you know how the hyper core goes when it comes in. I haven’t gotten the safety arms yet but I was thinking the same thing, that’s why I want spud suspension straps to help spot me when doing squats. Good luck on your search. The rack will probably end up being from:
      Rogue, rep fitness, prime fitness, or maybe force USA.

The first one had a defect that I showed them and they replaced the bench 9 years after I bought it. I then gave my dad that bench and just bought a new bench for myself and the hybrid bench pad. Let me know any specific questions I can answer in the review

    • @franklinvaldez3422
      @franklinvaldez3422 4 года назад +2

      Looks like a nice super bench, and the hybrid bench pad makes it even better. I want to know if it is a safe bench. They rate it able to support 1000 lbs flat and 600 lbs Incline. Is the beach steady when bench pressing heavy weights. Or you feel it will fall apart. I just see one straight leg in the bench and wonder if it is strong for bench pressing and other heavy weights exercises.

    • @Fitforacting
      @Fitforacting  4 года назад +3

      Franklin Valdez The bench is sturdy for me and having the hybrid pad makes it even better since you feel more planted and it’s not as cushy as the original pad. In the future I might get a different bench but I love the fact that this bench works with all the different attachments and no other company can compete with this not even PowerTec. They also make the wheel kits for the bottom which is nice when you wanna move it around. I can’t wait till they are back in stock so that I can purchase them. I will do a full review of my super bench once I get my other accessories again and will message you to let you know. Thank you so much for your compliments and support🙏🏻🙏🏽🙏

      @@Fitforacting Man, that's very fortuitous. I would love for them to bring the peck deck, and a version 2?! That's awesome.
      I'm all about pec decks due to a shoulder injury. At present I can maybe do cable/dumbbell flys about twice a month (every other week on chest day). Pec decks do not cause me any issues which is why I was really bummed to hear that they discontinued it. Really hope they release the new one soon! A hybrid pec and rear delt fly would be awesome!

There’s so many ways you can use this machine and I’m excited to show them off and videos as well. • @Fitforacting

      It’s not as bad as you would thing it is. I’m thinking of putting a sticker in the inside of the hole with a number. Even if I did every 5 holes it would help. Also the bar only has close and wide for markings on the bar. I plan on measuring and putting tape in between the knurling marks to have an extra position to quickly reference when positioning my hand.

    Thanks for the great video man, I Built my machine today. I was concerned that the horizontal silver bar went in after messing around with the sliding columns and the back spine but it took some back and forth. The silver horizontal bar is sliding up and down fine and seems fairly smooth (especially after the silicon spray).BUT I was just wondering if you also had some irregularities in the internal aspect between the uprights and the square housing holding the inner sliding plastic sleeves. They are not perfectly aligned with the column in the middle. Just off a smidge but they slide fine and the safety hooks are aligned on both sides... am I being too OCD here? I mean I don’t think I need to unscrew and redo the whole thing but I wish that iron master made the uprights and the horizontal bar preset so there is no room for error.
