Great interview Matt Howard! Being a good friend of Matt, his car brings back lots of memories! He was definitely an inspiration to the VW scene growing up! Frenchy too! Both awesome guys!
The HUGE BUG is a fun concept, An Alice in Wunderland kinda thing on steroids,, wonder what powers it? Corvair, V12, 911s orstock 36hp looks like an older build & Daily driver,, Got a short glimpse of what i think is a modded mid -late 50's Yellow Karmann Ghia with the quad headlights, BMW coupe looked similar to that Ghia in those years with quad headlights & odd body lines.. Bought a 1960 Ghia convert in 1971 for $300, all oriiginal with stock 36HP had close to 300k miles on original engine clean as a whistle and got close to 40mpg. Of coarse i wish i still had it & so many other VW models i bought for next to nothing that are so rare now.

Believe it or not, that Huge Bug's drivetrain/chassis is a Dodge Ram truck!
