i used to love this song in 2019 and i didn't watch anime back then, i just realised that's BAKUGO
I have a bakugou head Canon;
The reason why his ego is so big is because everyone constantly praised him, told him he’d be an amazing hero, could be the best. We know this, as it’s showing quite a bit in flash backs. But, maybe the only reason why they told him he’d be a great hero is because in all honesty he’d be a terrifying villain.
His quirk was fairly strong when he first got it so they praised him so much so he would believe that he could be the greatest. Because if people were scared of him, and he felt like he was a terrible person, he may have turned to the villain side. Especially since we know his mother (even if she doesn’t intend to be) is quite a bit abusive. So if that did happen, and he had enough... yikes.

So I now understood Bakugo’s backstory. Before he got his quirk he was also bullied like Izuku. To cover his pain, he would always act brave and say, “Just you wait.” When he got he realized his quirk was one of a kind and that it’ll mean he’ll finally be appreciated.
