This was a wonderfully supportive video. The other BeMO video I watched had expert answers that I found to be unreasonably long and unrealistic to complete in a 5 minute countdown. This video was much more realistic and gave me better tips.
This video was so helpful! I have been studying for the CASPER mostly through BeMo videos and scenario questions. I feel like I have a much better understanding of how to approach difficult scenarios and what types of questions will be asked of me on test day!
These are really great and extremely helpful sample questions and answers. However, I am a bit nervous that generating a well throughout of response such as these would far exceed five minutes. I am an extremely fast typer and I typed out the last response in about 2 minutes. That is without having to think about what I'm typing and without backspacing to make corrections. Is it possible to have shorter responses that are just as great and express everything it is that the reviewers are looking for?
Hello Deborah! Thank you very much for you comment. Some of these answers are a bit longer. The point of these videos is to demonstrate the general structure you should follow and the strategy you should employ. If you are looking for shorter answers, check out these videos: ruclips.net/video/8M1aNg_NxHI/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/bzRswInUF00/видео.html Let me know if I can help in any other way!
I absolutely appreciate this video for having answer styles that are short, compared to some of the other videos with lengthy expert answers. I feel that others who take the exam often get caught by the quantity and quality in expert answers. This shows that you can still have quality answers that are shorter in length.
Great video! So for scenario questions where you need do to an action, the general structure is: 1) Find most pressing issue, 2) Gather information 3) Consider all possible solutions and their impacts 4) Make final decision 5) Possibly follow up? Is there anything else to take note of?
Great summary, Michael! Yes, all these steps are correct. In the end, you can also demonstrate that you are pro-active and provide a look into the future, i.e., what you learned and how you will act in similar situations from now on.
@@BeMoAcademicConsulting Okay that is a relief that I am on the right track and I'll keep this advice in mind. I also understand that it is 5 minutes per scenario with three question each. So I was wondering when considering all of the solutions, can I just summarize it by saying, " There are many solutions such as (solutions) that can help everyone involved, but I think the best solution...."? Or is there better way that you recommend?
Hi Michael! You do not have to list all the possible solutions - that will take too long and you are pressed for time. What you can do is say that there are many possible solutions, but you would act in X way to appease the vulnerable party and all the involved parties. Remember, you must demonstrate decisiveness to some extent. The scorers want to see some action! Hope this helps :)
@@BeMoAcademicConsulting Alright I will definitely put this strategy into good use as it does make sense to just say there are many solutions and go straight into picking the action that you want to perform. Thank you so much for the help!
Hey I understand that length typically doesn't matter, but surely there's a recommended number of words that you should type out for each question? I'm not sure if only writing 2 sentences for a question is good enough.
Hello Diego! Thanks for your question! There is no minimal requirement. If your answer can address all the vital issues of the scenario in 2 sentences, then that's great. It is unlikely, to answer in a couple of sentences but still you should stick to a concise answer.
if this appears in the video response we would only have 10secs to read and think of an answer and 1 minute to answer.. how should we create a well responded answer that is short.?
Hi! The example answers here are supposed to demonstrate the logic and strategy behind structuring your answers. Remember that your answers do not have to be this long to get a great score, as long as you stick to the structure! Let us know if we can help in any other way!
Knowing that we only have 5min to answer each questions, what main subjects should we prioritize when writing our answers. Also, do we have 5min starting after having read the scenario, or before? Thank you, these are great!
Hi Julia! Thanks for your question! You have 5 minutes after you read the scenario. Prioritize the vulnerable party and being non-judgmental in the scenario.
Thank you for this sample video.Could you please advice if the response can be typed in all upper case. Would it impact on the examiner's scoring?. This is just to know if that can help to save some time while typing.
Hello Najma! Thanks for your question. While all caps should not really affect your result, it's always best to write in accessible and comprehensive style. How you present your work should not affect the scorer, but it would be best err on the side of caution.

Hello, this was a wonderful video to watch. What are the best ways to gather information from people when it comes to ethical dilemmas, conflict resolutions, etc.?
Hello FroBroMode! Thanks for your excellent question! You must be very careful, especially if information gathering concerns health issues. In your answer, try to demonstrate that you are aware that this is a delicate matter and that you will show outmost respect to anyone you talk to. For example, if you need to talk to a minor, maybe instead reach out to their parents, if possible. Hope this helps! Let us know if we can help in any other way!
Wouldn't paid sick leave be a financial burden for the interest of the company? Wouldn't it be best for her to go on government assistance or disability?
Hello Matt! Thanks for your comment. If the company offers such benefits, they should be able to provide them. You do not need to look for the assistance elsewhere. Plus, keep in mind that the workplace in question could be a government system.

Really is this possible to write almost a short lecture in three sections in less than 5 minutes? No seems exadurated. Be conside is the key , right ?
