Thank you as always! You're my go to channel when I need quick, solid pointers before I head out. Also I love the consistency with your tips in the videos; you tend to say the same thing across your videos (offset over EWG, show em something different, etc). You give us the confidence we need!
I used the junebug mag ol ' Monster for the first time on my river upnorth in northern Michigan and caught a 4.05 pder! My new favorite plastic worm! ❤
Nice vid ....I live I southern Illinois... We have lots and lots of coal mine strip pit...I've cought 4 of the last 5 five pounder off a ol monster June bug red ....they just can't help themselves...lol
I lose so many fish on the zoom ol monster and I have the hook exposed even on a Texas rig wirh a 5/0 hook they love it but I can’t set rhe hook unless the bassholes are Too small maybe?
They do work but I've come to like yamamoto Ichi worms even better. Don't know why you don't use your drag. That's what they're made for. Just back it off quarter to half turn when you get a big one up to the boat and use your thumb. I've been doing it that way in the south for 55yrs.
Jeffrey Acito very rarely. I have tried both ways and I have found that you get a lot more bites when you don’t peg. Now sometimes, in heavy grass situations you may have to, but if I can get away not pegging..then that’s what I do
Id rather have a double cheeseburger then a Jr. Burger lol. Especially to a bass when it gets hot and their metabolism is cranking. Ive caught some 4s and 5s on it in the last few days it works. Even a bunch smaller then the worm itself they flat out love the profile

My PB last week was caught dragging a 10” worm along a shallow water drop off. Just love the fall bite.

When the water heats up, you can't beat a Zoom Ol' Monster
AHHH...I love that worm! It sure does work! Thanks for the info. 🎣
They are the best!
Great vid.... But you need to put one more color in there. My last 3 big fish were on June bug red....
We've caught crazy numbers of really big fish on guntersville using that exact worm!!! Fishing around the edges of isolated hydrilla mats is money!!!
David Newcomb thats what’s up!
If you have a habit of setting the hook to the side set it in the upward motion. Hooks them right in the top of the mouth any type of hook.
Was it hoover or alum for the tournament?
Nice video! What size rod were you using?

On the line, are you talking about fluorocarbon?
People stop throwing these, stop reminding them lol... they work wonders in pressured water with all the rattle crankers lol
Sum1Fishy right? It’s the wonder worm
I believe bass like them because it’s a big meal as opposed to eating several little meals
The plastic worm. That’s all we used to fish with in late ‘60s -‘70s in southwest Miami, Florida.
You're from Ohio?! Sweet! I need tips fishing here in Ohio. I came over from tylersreelfishing😃
Can’t remember if you mentioned it but do you peg or unpeg"
I didn’t and I wish I had! I typically don’t peg my weight unless I am in heavier vegetation. I really think that you get more bites without it pegged
@@BassFishingHQ and they shake it off less often since the weight slides away. In the thick stuff, peg agree.

How do you fish your big worm?!
I’m in Ohio to brother, and I love using Ol’ Monster worms
My favorite BIG worm! Have caught many pounds on a watermelon red Berkley Power Worm also.
There is just nothing like a big worm bite!

@@BassFishingHQ thank you for the quick response...just subscribed today...great content so far
does the off set hook work even on thicker style worms
