I think that scenario where I should go for the guy that can't run straightly into their tower. This mostly applies to me into ranged top laners where they would just run away directly to tower and then they just burst me or kite me. Also the mechanical failure where I eat my autos (not including the E-W-Q unless it also counts as a mechanical failure) and cannot get five stacks quickly enough and they end up getting away and me getting killed. The rest of these mistakes happen in seldom.
The last part is so true When the enemy support goes with leona or alistar i feel much more like picking Darius Easy to stack and reset for the resistances they get, true dmg goes through Leona's w and alistar's ult for example, and lots of times they jump on idk your mid and you can stack and kill the Leona while she cant go back and then everyone else after
About the choice of target around 6:00 you can also use a²+b²=c² in a right-angle triangle (actually i was like woah finally i found where i can use Pythagore)

You don’t know how my E has saved me so much. That pull is so good when you’re getting chased lol. Pull and w to slow run away, but q to heal cause they always get in your range when you’re running or if the flash. and woosh Escape again lol 😹
Concerning the vectors and the speed, this is not 150 and 150, it would be more smth like 300/sqrt(2) ahah. But I got the idea, the guy isn't using his full speed to escape you. ;)
as far as I know anygame with a lot of cc is not good for darius even if there are a lot of tanks like ornn tahm natu zac cuz if your team were losing you dont have anything to offer in team fights so your only hope is to split pushing and praying that your team will get a hold of themselves and defend until your pushing take an effect. I have been stuck for a while in platinum 4/3 and I dont know what to do to even get to high plat I thought of changing roles but it's too much time for me to grind back as college student so I'm kinda hopeless rn your videos is what keeps me playing him honestly

ayy i was here before the discord ping! I find my issue is not being able to carry when my whole team isn't doing well. I am in bronze 4 so its understandable not a lot of people put time to learn into the game and sometimes i get iron players who have the regular disconnects or int on purpose. I've also gotten a couple players say they are trying to hit iron 4 to sell the account.
Eh u can't win every game man. Some games u just get grass eating animals on ur team. Best to just focus on what ur doing wrong and improve so I'll eventually leave.

I know some people in higher (ish) elo like to not get tower and rather have minions die so they loose cs/xp but around what time should you take down the tower? before the plates fall? and if you can't or miss the opportunity.

But if the team is feeding or the enemy team champions kinda mess you up, its better to get as fed off of toplane as possible so just stay and farm around top. Also as a toplaner, its almost never worth to do herald by yourself. It takes wayy too much time.

Also yeah frontlining as Darius is even more impossible than before with items like Profane. You literally get chunked and die in the duration of two stuns.

I've responded to this before but, I'm trying to explain the idea to people whose mathematical literacy can vary a LOT. I decided that half half was more simple and understandable than me bringing up Pythagoras. The accuracy of the numbers don't really matter since for league, you just have to grasp how pathing works, not calculate the speed on the spot.

Most yone takes ignite and flash. You(Darius) do q at level 1 and e at level 2. You can fight him if you get the basic mechanics right. But you are like me, always panick and start pressing random keys. Wait for your jg , ur e at level 2 is gap closer.

I definitely pick him into bad matchups. Started playing him in lower elo so got into the mindset that if I were just good enough, I could outplay anything in any situations, no matter how low hp I was or how fed the enemy were. I've gotten better at it though, found other fun champs to pick when there's just too much to deal with
What are some of your other champs? I’m nowhere near good enough elo to worry about it yet but my champ pool is Darius, Garen, Mordekaiser. I picked up Gwen but she’s in the pits right now.
