@@Nicofilms , should check out Dali, temperature of that magical city is shifting between 16°C to 25°C all the year, always spring, always blossoming flowers.

Unfortunately I did not enjoy it so much, there is a lot of building work going on especially by the lake and the old town was very touristy and loud, I hear it has changed a lot in the past few years which is a shame as I heard great things before.
@@Nicofilms Also, after some driving around in Hangzhou I must point out that the traffic is absolutely dreadful sometimes especially the surrounding motor ways, plus there are restrictions to non-Hangzhou license plates to easy congestion which unfortunately applies to my car. Well, at least I'm not being cooked by the heat sitting in my car.
@@eizoshen7548 Yes unfortunately in a lot of cities driving is not the most convenient. I remember we really struggled to get a taxi in Hangzhou the last time we went!

West lake and its mountains; bicycle + hiking is the best way to open the trip of WL. Tourists crowded in SuDi and Duanqiao, but if you go another parallel Di(Yanggong Di), it's much more quite and with a lot of paths going to lake or gardens; some gardens look like secret gardens, your sight seems be covered with green, layer by layer, especially the rainy day.....just an example, too many wonderful routine to visit WL; the only principle is to keep from tourists.

It is the best city in China. But people need to realize it’s the creme de la creme. It’s like the Santa Barbara of China. Zhejiang is the richest province in China. They have the money to do good maintenance and preservation of ancient monuments and villages. In other parts of China, it’s not so good. Chengdu is also great, for less than half the rent.

Wuxi, the most undervalued city in China, there is a saying goes, 上有天堂下有苏杭,无锡赛天堂, Above are the heaven, down on earth are Suzhou and Hangzhou, but Wuxi is better than Heaven.
上有天堂，下有苏杭. Chinese used to regard Hangzhou and Suzhou as heaven, so you may get the 'most beautiful' part quite right.

It was such a beautiful place if you stay near the West Lake. Where else will you go? There are so many good places to choose from in China!
