- I was so lucky to find the A.P.C. Grace bag in the size small with a great price. But unfortunately it still didn't work out for me. In this video I share the reasons why I returned the bag.

So glad you mentioned the stiffness issue. I bought the bag a year or so ago because everyone talked about how beautiful it is and how the leathers amazing… but no one mentioned the stiffness issue… and I ended up selling it in the end because of that lol😅 had I known i wouldn’t not have purchased it because it could not fit what most bags that size could fit.
Good to know that I'm not the only one who thinks this way!
Doesn't bother me as I have many bags that are just useless and I could still put my essentials in my grace bag.
But since the bag is structured and small not gonna fit anything as much as a tote bag or the Celine one with thousands of dollar price mark

Hi from Finland 🤗 Amazing to have a fellow Finn doing RUclips about handbags, as I’m a huge fan also. Great video and fantastic input! I just ordered the Grace Mini in Lavender for -60 %, probably from the same department store as you got yours, as they do fantastic seasonal sales if you have the guts to wait for the final days of the sale. I’m super interested to see if it will work for me, at least the price point was amazing at 250€.
The lavender colour is soooooo pretty. And with 250€ you got it with an amazing deal for sure!

@@WithaTouchofLuxury Got mine today and the lock is scratched and the strap shows signs of wear - it’s obviously a store sample. Maybe I could even live with that, but the it does not work crossbody at all, so I think it’s going back… Such a shame, the price was great!
The whole rant meaning this whole video I was thinking to myself there is a size up if you carry lots of stuff. The company calls it the small grace for a reason and being that you have other bags currently it's only common sense that if a bag is very structure your room in there is very limited. I have mines in Burgundy the small and I use it as a special occasion bag and I knew it would be that from the moment I order it since it is a SMALL BAG.
It's great if you don't need to test things yourself & have them in your hands before knowing everything on how they would work out for you! I did look at the measurements and based on them my essentials fit - and they did but not as comfortably as I prefer and this is something I found out only when having the bag in my hands. Also as I did mention in the video I am aware of the bigger size but I also mentioned why I don't like it. It's wonderful that you made this bag work for you!

You are so cute!!! You have to go with your gut instinct on the bag. I agree that if you have several things that you aren't happy with, you should probably send it back and get the other bag. I too think that those slots are useless!!!

I had this bag and kept it for almost the entire 30 days but couldn't bring myself to keep it. I love it and the leather smell was amazing but I had the same exact issues. Plus the leather is very very prone to creasing where the flap opens and in the straps. The straps are so finicky and uncomfortable. I miss it because I loved it but its just too stiff

I truly believe that this bag meant for minimalist, the style and structure of the bag is obviously fit only for phone, keys, at least 1 ,2 cards and maybe one lipstick but this is not ideal for essentials things you wanted to put in there, it's impossible even you pay so much money on it because that's what it is, there are many types of bag and you have to consider that if buying this small stuff but expensive it is expected to fit only a little.
Anyways, I think the Atelier Auguste would be a little fine for your needs it also looks like Celine, it is nice that you're honest about how you feel and this is a very helpful review unlike the other bag reviewer everything is positive which is maybe they are being paid.

@@WithaTouchofLuxury I was also angry before when I got my husband's gift bag it was a YSL and it didn't fit all my life out there and I told myself it was a waste of money but then years of studying I learned that every bag has its purpose and it is not about how much you can put in it because even the biggest bag or let's say the normal size of the bag the sales lady in France told me that I should not put a lot in any of my bags there should be a space and breathable, especially those expensive ones.
So now when I go to the grocery I use the big cheap tote bag that I can throw and bang anywhere at any time. And that expensive one I cannot show those off to the grocery or market because they are not served on purpose. Haha but when dinner in restaurants and parties or weddings or going to church the little expensive bags are so useful because all I need is a phone and a key and a tissue. It's crazy because we paid so much for this bag haha but that's what IT IS LIFE GOES ON.

I have the Demellier Vancouver and honestly the capacity is not much bigger than that APC, it also doesn't have much "give". I had to reserve it for going out only, for everyday use it's to small :(

As I didin't keep the APC bag I can't say for sure but with my own Polène bags I have had zero issues with quality where as I've seen many APC try-on bags in stores and they have had so many scratches on the leather and hardware (just out of people trying them on) so my guess would be that at least with this bag model Polène has better quality in general

What a lucky girlfriend you have! I guess it depends on how formal the wedding is and what’s the general style of the person who’d be wearing it; I wouldn’t wear this bag to a super formal event as for me it’s too casual looking - but for someone else it could work in formal situations as well ☺️

I totally get your sentiments and personally, I think this bag is just overhyped on socials. I have the mini and the regular and they are absolutely gorgeous, but SO impractical. Everything about the strap is just 💩 and the capacity/size ratio is indeed mediocre. Also, the materials are not very scratch resistant. If you're indifferent between designs, the DeMellier Vancouver (in grained leather) is a way better option.
