id call that herringbone. fantastic video. i’m currently in school studying architecture and i think I learned more by watching this video on .25x than i do in most classes 😂 i wish the time lapse included more of the other disciplines like the roofers and the garden landscaping and overall just more of the final product. really cool stuff you have going on
@@THEpremieroutdoor You guys are doing incredible work, it looks like 3D images, it's amazing!! You deserve to be praised and applauded for your work ethics and your bond as a team. Wishing you more success and wealth but most importantly good Health. Keep it up!
Awesome video as always guys! Love watching these so much. I’m wondering what the average cost of a build like this is? And what’s the general time frame look like for the build? Keep up the great work!
ZIPPER me up Buddy Boyee!!! Zipper, Zipper, Zipper!!! (Crowd cheering). Agree 100% about the upside down Tyvek. Really enjoyed the pop ups Bud. Nice touch. And... this was Concrete Cathy's finishing touch with her tiny lady hands & brain!!! Still makes me freakin laugh so hard!! Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!

Never gets old watching these.. such an inspiration. Do you need to use a mortar or adhesive on the cap stones for that wall/bench or are they heavy enough to not move?
Gorgeous! It’s a herringbone pattern NOT chevron and I have no idea what a zipper pattern is (you must have made that up!). Do you ever build steps that are curved - in wood? I’m curious how wood is prepared so it can bend. Lots more lighting, please ❤
Great design! If someone knows how the pergola is build for resist the shear stress, I have interest on that! This is serious design with lvl with big span for resist now load, impressive.
Fantastic video! Really love your creative designs. May I ask a question? How much would a job like this cost? You don't need to say how much this particular job cost, just what something of this size and design would be. Thanks.
Your videos are both educational and entertaining - the first site I check daily. Your recent "post-game" analyses are very good. I am in the construction business [lots of decks] in Michigan. One particular question, please tell me how you secured the 3-ply beams to the posts. Thank you.
Always a pleasure watching your videos. And this one particularly turned out to be one of my favorites. I see that you use helical piers in almost all your builds. Is that standard for all backyards or do you have other choices? I am in the SF Bay Area and generally, helical piers are somewhat a novelty here and really expensive as compared to lets say concrete piers.
Do you ever install motorized retractable screens? We added them to our product line a few years ago after I saw some at IBS. 4 years later they account for 50-60% of our revenue.
Por favor protéjanse sus rodillas con rodilleras , yo trabaje muchos años y usaba mis rodillas para limpiar los pisos y ahora que tengo 61 ya sufro mucho de las rodillas, por favor a cuidarse mucho ❤
Something like this would take the guys 4-6 weeks depending on weather & materials. And it would cost A LOT!!! Hoping all is well... Joking.. LOL!! I could never begin to quote the price. I know I'm spot on about the time frame. Thank you for you kind words!!
For those that think this video is sped up it's not. These guys are just that fucking good.
We just drink lots of Red Bull 🤣🤣
I love this.hardscape...watched the video 2 times. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing!!
Thanks Simon!!
Client: How many designs can you do with straight lines and edges?
Premier Outdoor Living: Yes!
Great stuff!
Really diggin the color choices and patterns of this project. Oh, and the lighting is nice too!
Love you guys work💕

That is stunning. It has such a pleasing aesthetic and flow to it.

Some would call that pattern herringbone but I prefer zipper!great work as usual.

Appreciate that ross!! Georgia is probably a bit too far of a drive for us 🤣
@@THEpremieroutdoor damn. That sucks. Cause I would have loved for you to have come to Aussie to do a few of my places...
Where are you located?

That brick fireplace is like a giant mole in this video. Incredible work as usual… just really wishing they’d at least white washed that brick.
Hahah they are going to get the house re sided some time soon so maybe they’ll do that as well
👌 awesome
Never gets old watching these.. such an inspiration.
Do you need to use a mortar or adhesive on the cap stones for that wall/bench or are they heavy enough to not move?
I really appreciate that!! The cap on the wall gets glued down, they are pretty heavy but definitely still need to be glued
Excellent work! Quick question - is the weed barrier/fabric not required under the deck? how do we prevent/manage weed growth? thanks.
Gorgeous! It’s a herringbone pattern NOT chevron and I have no idea what a zipper pattern is (you must have made that up!). Do you ever build steps that are curved - in wood? I’m curious how wood is prepared so it can bend. Lots more lighting, please ❤
Hahah definitely made up zipper pattern, we haven’t done any curved steps but you never knowb

We do a 2x6 scab lagged in to the post and beam!
Whatever you charge, it's not enough.
I agree with you 🤣🤣
Great designs! How has the rise of building material costs affected your business?
How do you put the board flush with the framing? Where do you secure it?
I noticed that you leave the joints overhanging the beam on your deck projects. Can I ask how far they extend?
Always a pleasure watching your videos. And this one particularly turned out to be one of my favorites.
I see that you use helical piers in almost all your builds. Is that standard for all backyards or do you have other choices? I am in the SF Bay Area and generally, helical piers are somewhat a novelty here and really expensive as compared to lets say concrete piers.
We used to do concrete, but once we switched over to helical piles we will never go back! It’s definitely our standard now.
looks fantastic, what did you use for the roof on the pergola?
Do you ever install motorized retractable screens? We added them to our product line a few years ago after I saw some at IBS. 4 years later they account for 50-60% of our revenue.
We haven’t but we actually have an upcoming project that is getting them!
Por favor protéjanse sus rodillas con rodilleras , yo trabaje muchos años y usaba mis rodillas para limpiar los pisos y ahora que tengo 61 ya sufro mucho de las rodillas, por favor a cuidarse mucho ❤
We are looking at a flat roof for our patio. Please tell us what you used on your pergola. Great looking project.
We used a product called Cover Your Pergola, definitely recommend!
@@THEpremieroutdoor Thanks so much, I watched another one of your videos and contacted them. It looks like a great product.
In love with your amazing work. So modern touch of everything you do . Would you come to NY ? 🙏
Thanks buddy!! NY is a little too far from us!
Wow….wow…wow
When I saw the before I was like why did they change it? But then I saw the after….
Hahaha appreciate that my friend
Are u willing to come to Texas
What was the price for all this? Good job.
What is the rough cost range for something like this?
You are supposed to do the Tyvek backwards if you do it upside down.
Haha I like that rule
What is the cost for a deck like this ?
I wonder how much something like that cost
How to the heilical piles work in rocky soil ?
A little harder to install but they are installed a lot in rocky areas, just not where I live
Great job as always!! Can I ask a question? Who comes up with the designs, does your clients or do they pay you to design something for them?
Thanks a lot Darin! I do all the designs and luckily our clients just trust me to run with whatever ideas I come up with
You truly have a gift, love your work.
Curious...do you ever do work in New York?
Approximately what does something like this cost and how long did it take total? Beautiful job
Something like this would take the guys 4-6 weeks depending on weather & materials. And it would cost A LOT!!! Hoping all is well...
Joking.. LOL!! I could never begin to quote the price. I know I'm spot on about the time frame. Thank you for you kind words!!
Roughly 75-100k and about 4 weeks or so
how does mortarless stone veneer work?
It has a flange built into it and gets screwed to the wall, next panel covers the flange
Wow
What is the size of this deck?
When I win the lottery, I'll pay you extra to come to Canada and do my deck!
