This is the worst opening statement I've ever heard, especially on such a high profile case. She honestly comes across as completely unprepared and her opening statement is an incoherent, disjointed and rambling mess. That is unacceptable considering how long they have had to prepare for this. What an utter embarassment.

The region where this crime occurred is located in a very rural area known as Piketon. Waverly is not so rural and the two cities are not the same. Yes, it is Pike county but the two cities are vastly different. I think if I had to present such horrific information (especially on national television) I would have some nervous “ums” as well. Before you are so critical of others perhaps you should learn how to spell the word lessons. Isn’t this case bad enough? Apparently it’s just fun to critique people that you don’t even know. No it's not her first case as some have suggested. And she quit in June 2020 but the prosecution team asked for her to stay on for this case and the judge approved it. Makes ya wonder just how unprepared this whole Ohio prosection team is if this is the best they got. I mean they've had years and years to study up on this case and to present a crystal clear case. She's been on the case from the very beginning and she sounds so unprepared. And what I read says she's the lead for all 4 cases. This is absolutely UMMexceptable. How in the heck can the DAs office allow this woman to give the opening statement?!?! Yes it’s just suppose to be a brief overview that gets the jury ready for what we now know is going to be a very long and boring trial. If I was her coworker or even the judge I’d have to give her some constructive criticism. A little 4th grade reminder how to speak in proper sentences that don’t make the audience want to stick ice picks in their ears. This is absolutely UMMbelievable!!!!
