As a 4th generation ABC, I really enjoy your videos. Even tho I was born and raised in Sacramento and have traveled all over the Sierra Nevada mountains, I am surprised to learn of all the old small Chinatowns that you have pointed out to us. We are Toishan and loved your discoveries. Keep going to more adventures! Cal Mock
I will be in Kyoto in September, I will add Kobe Chinatown to my list ; - ) Did you try any of the walk-in Chinese restaurants in Chinatown? My favorite dish to try in Chinatown around the world is beef chow fun if they have it. "When the Port of Kobe opened in 1868, Chinese immigrants from Guangdong and Fujian started settling in Kobe......" Great Info!
Same thing happened in America, opened up and then you have Chinatown in San Francisco, Oakland, new York, ect. Then you open up a little more, you get Japantown in San Jose, San Francisco and Los angeles..........
Lol. Love your subtle humor.

I live here but never eat the food in Chinatown as it's not good.
