In the world of chronic pain (caused by mind body), I like to think you struggle until you hit the “I don’t give a hell anymore” point. Then you open up completely and begin being more accepting. This can happen in cycles with each period of acceptance and openness becoming stronger.

I've suffered with chronic insomnia for well over 20 years. Like many, I've tried every supplement combo and/or multiple prescription sleep aids to no avail. I've had 3 sleep studies done. The 1st one said I had only hypopneas, so a cpap was prescribed. The 2nd one said I only snored a little, so no issues. The 3rd one was an at home study, and it showed a mild obstruction. I've been using the cpap mask now for around 13 years, and even though my data shows barely any hypopneas, I'm still VERY exhausted everyday morning. Some mornings It's so bad it feels like I've barely slept at all.
I found this channel over a year ago. I've read the NATTO book, and Set it and Forget It. I've watched many videos. I've listened to Beth Kendall's podcasts. I feel like I have a good understanding of what's espoused here, andI'm implementing the NATTO approach. However, even when I'm not aware that I'm aware constantly, and/or fall back asleep ok during the night...I'm still utterly exhausted every day of my life!
Could hyperarousal STILL be what's keeping me from getting into a deep, delta sleep, and thus still exhausted everyday? I have been a very "light" sleeper for most of my adult life.
I would love to try your personal coaching, but just can't afford it, and I really don't think the AI app would be much help.
Just needing some kind of guidance here, please.
    Thank you,
    Marc

I've had Insomnia before and i never did research and that's why i always recover within some days but this time i did a lot of research that I'm information overloaded. And the most hopeless thing to read when someone says that they are struggling for 10-20 years. I mean this is the worst. I lose all the hope when I read comments like that.

Is it possible to regain the same ability to sleep working 2 dayshifts and 2 nightshifts system? It's hard to control my hyperarousal and anxiety when trying to sleep before my day shifts. I found myself lying in bed with my eyes closed for nearly whole day before nightshift even after another nightshift. It caused me a lot of anxiety and currently off sick trying to get my anxiety under control. I take mirtazapine to help me sleep at night. Will I ever be able to sleep during the day after my nightshifts? I've been struggling with sleep from the end of February this year. I fear that nightmare will never end and I wont be able to work again... please give me some advise.

Wonderful video. Wonderful work you are doing. I went through terrible insomnia and it took 10 years to get out of the vicious cycle of sleep efforts and fear. I am a psychologist and I think I should help people with insomnia. How to join your sleepcoach programm?
