You did not say any kind of replant. A great repellent is peppermint. You can grow it in the garden, around your, or out door building; you can also use the oil to spray around the house and in areas you can't grow plants. Plus it makes the house smell great.

Some good advice. I never consider poisons though. It is a good thing you stressed that as a last resort. I lost one of my cats because of a neighbor using poison. :( I found her too late and got her to the vet within 10 minutes but she couldn't be saved. The vet ran tests and found out she had eaten a rat poison likely from eating a rat or mouse that had been poisoned. :(

I understand that mice and rats are annoying, but there is so much more to use than pest chemicals. I wouldn't even put chemical around my veggies and fruits. You are not an organic grower if you use any pesticides.

I like this video, but I don't like spraying pest chemicals around vegetables.

Cats are the best at this job. They are designed by Mother Nature to take care of this better than any gadget mankind creates. Of course, if you are allergic to cats, this contraption is a good idea. Some dogs like mouse hunting too. Possibly skunks as well -- but that can get a little tricky.

for rats and mice. put 6 inches of water in a 5 gallon plastic bucket, on the inside 7inches down . run a light film of peanut butter all the way around, place a stick or board as an access ramp to the outer edge of the bucket. dispose of rats and mice or rats as needed or convert them to islam and help obama to assist them to rule the world.
