The actual situation is, Bora and Hyolyn didn't decide to extend or sign a new contract with Starship. Maybe starship deal is not relevant for both of them, and all of the members agree that if they stay as a group they won't have any potential growth between them, and maybe that's why hyo and bora decide to leave the company and dasom and Soyou stay in starship.

you know throughout this whole entire come back not once did I actually cry I felt sad and I felt emotional but I didn't actually cry and no matter how many times I watched the music video I didn't cry and I had watched a whole bunch their live performances and stuff but I don't think it really hit me that they were no longer going to be a group until I watched this live performance today...right now I'm in my room and I am a crying hot mess like I actually just bawled my eyes out I don't think I realized just how much they meant to me especially since they weren't my favorite girl group but they were definitely up there on my list of top girl groups....and they do mean a lot to me and I will miss them... and that's why I'm a crying mess.
