I can understand how the Mom is feeling right now. Imagine your daughter, who just got accepted to a prestigious college like Northwestern, is run over by a car. Worse, the driver hates your entire race and did it intentionally, and said driver may or may not be considered a donor for your daughter's organs, how would you feel?

i can’t blame the mom. this is the very first and possibly only time i’ll ever have the opinion that anyone (outside of religious reasons) shouldn’t help others by giving their organs after death. that because you’re typically saving INNOCENT life. REDEEMABLE life. i don’t know if i could live with the knowledge my daughters organ were keeping her killer alive.
Guy has cancer. He wouldn't be put on any donor list with a cancer diagnosis, other than bone marrow donation.

I’m guessing we missed a few eventful scenes between the beginning and end, one moment the mom was distressed about her daughter being almost dead, the next she seems to have accepted that already

I know this is TV drama, but I LOVE how the community came together to help those in need. THIS is how the community should come together to help those in need of aid! Props to the manager of that place for giving up her place temporarily so there would be space to treat the injured!

I'm not sure it'd helpful to label or judge emotions as 'good' or 'bad' emotions. Like feelings aren't good or bad, they are neutral, feelings are just feelings. Emotions can be channelled well or poorly
Hate can destroy people/be corrosive. Hatred of injustice can inspire people to fight injustice
If you find a positive outlet any emotion can probably be useful and there might be a time and a place fot it.
Sometimes hatred is an entirely appropriate and natural human emotion and judging that doesn't help. You can't make it go away by judging it, judging it doesn't help you process the feeling or make it go away. It's nuanced

I don’t blame the mother one bit for not giving permission because she’s worried that the same racist to I mean she doesn’t know the guy has cancer. She doesn’t know the guys dying in her mind somebody like him getting one of her daughters organs. I can understand that I can understand why she would want to, people were extremely angry here when a doctor at a certain hospital rushed to take the organs from a patient who he probably came in as brain dead, but he wasn’t brain dead because he’s the one who drove him and his buddy in as a person who had a friend who registered brain dead 27 times she came into an ER and wasn’t brain dead. I can understand why they were angry. You see they took his organs and one of the people they rushed to give one of the organs too, was a member of a certain known Palestinian organization that basically funds terrorism while he was merely a supporter you can imagine how angry people were eventually, the doctor was put on charges, and he was stripped of his license for not waiting for the families approval nor waiting until the guy was brain stem death you see he came in that way he had a bullet to his brain from a terrorist act and he drove his jeep with his buddy inside to the hospital, so yeah, I can see why the mother of this girl would not want to give her organs because of what happened, but I am sure there are people on the waiting list at the top of it even who would fit the criteria that the mother could agree to in case she like that you speak to would be recipients you talk to them you find out what these people are like it doesn’t matter color. It matters that they’re not racist and then you talk to the woman and you give her the names of the people that her daughters organs are going to be getting so that she knows where they’re going and yes, this can be done regardless of what the show will tell you otherwise.

I would have kept the “we have no control over who the organs go to” to myself, if I were them.

He was just arrested unceremoniously (I honestly think someone should've vigilanted him) and if I recall he indirectly made the girl's mother a racist because she refused to let her daughters organs be donated if they want to a non-black person.

the thing is, someone of a similar racial background would likely be the closest match for her organs anyway, so it's likely they would go to someone who LOOKS like her... but you can't guarantee what kind of person they are, so even if it wasn't a white supremacist, they could have ended up going to a gang member or a religious extremist or a homophobe... or they could go to a white kid who was also going to Northwestern and wanted to work pro bono cases for the NAACP. you can't know what's in someone's heart by their skin color.
And if a child were to possibly die because she didn't donate? There's no guarantee that they wouldn't go to a racist, but there's also no guarantee that they would go to a racist.

Very few of these guys left where the hate is GENUINE, and not manufactured by the media. We can try to help them see that we’re all on the same team, that race shouldn’t play into ANYTHING, but they just keep hating. Nah. It is referencing the Waukesha Christmas Parade. Driver is the wrong color, though. Charlottesville was a guy who caused a woman to have a heart-attack & pass. She wasn't hit by the car. Just scared to death.
The Waukesha incident happened 2 years AFTER this particular episode was aired. I still don’t know why people are connecting the dots like this.

There have been cases of trampling victims with only two people in the room, the victim and one who ran.
It's not about the amount of people; incredibly small crowds can perfectly do it: our bodies are very squishy.
