Its heavy card....like poster board. Any heavy card will do, as long as one side is shiny. You paint on the shiny side.

What kind of spray paint do you use? All I've been able to find is the quick dry stuff which is great but it seems to dry too quickly for me to do any real work with it. Do I need to look for some more spray paint or do I simply need to work on my speed/timing?
