One noted fact that you failed to mention (I'm not sure why?) is that the area was never "Palestine" until the Roman conquest in 70AD. It was always Judea or Israel. "Palestine" was a Roman twist of the Israel's ancient enemy,the Philistines.

This is true, which is why this video is so completely wrong. Arafat ordered all the moslems from Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc, to begin calling themselves “palestinians” in the 1960s, hoping to make it appear they had a claim to Israel’s land. They’re basically just Arabs and they should all have homelands they can return to, but their islamic brothers absolutely refuse to allow them to enter their home nations, not even for employment or educational purposes. They are indeed mistreated, but by their own: this group is far too valuable as a propaganda tool against Israel for the moslems to allow them out of their containment - where they landed for attacking Israel to begin with.

The Philistines were taken into Babylonian slavery in which they never returned as a nation and large people. The Philistines were also linked to Greek DNA more than middle east.
@@gregclark2243 you are right. The Philistines came from the island of Crete. According to Egyptian record, Ramsey the 3rd gave them Gaza area. After that they were conquered twice and taken as slaves they were lost to the pages of history. I don't doubt Muslims have Greek blood, because the Greeks under Alexander the great conquered the area, and there has been other contact. The Greek also have Muslim DNA. Israelites can't go back to where they used to live 1300 years ago and claim the land as theirs. If you are a Palestinian Christian then you have a wonderful heritage . I was in Bethlehem in April ....met some Palestinian Christians there . Life is hard for them in Bethlehem, but they love it so dearly. Those people have a wonderful feeling of identity . I wished I could have stayed there longer , known them better .

I have the old bible printed in 1976 from the original copy, 47 years now. There was a map also in the bible,the whole Kingdom of Israel ( consist of Palestine or Israel land area, Lebanon,Jordan and Imperial Syria). Palestine is a tribe in Palestine Region (from the border of Eqyp to Lebanon coastal area) thats Palestinians Region, True Christians is another tribe also, and Jews is another tribe too inside the whole Kingdom of Israel ,and the rest of tribes. A most deceptive title! There was the Philistines, NEVER has there exsisted Palestinians until 1980's. When the British took the entire territory from the Ottomans back in the early 1900's. It was the British who created the name Palestinian Territory. The area was officially nameless until then. It's only occupants, a few Jews, Catholics, a few Arabs, and Bedouins. The land was unhabitable. When the British allowed Jews to return ( Balfour 1922). It opened the door for Jews to return after WWII. Jews began to build to plant, the territory was open to all. Immigrants looking for work from Egypt, Syria, Jordan, etc began to go to Israel, Jews were hiring and paying top wages! Seeing the progress Jews were making. Britain reluctantly gave them their approval, recognized their right to live in " Israel". The surrounding Arab nations one by one got together and went to war with the Jews, Britain supplied much of the weapons used by the Arabs. The Jews win on evey side. On May 14, 1948 Jews declared Israel a nation again. However they didn't just win Israel, they got the entire territory!! In 1982 Israel gave back a huge section back to Egypt that was included in the Palestinian Territory. Many of Jordan also got land back. Many of the immigrants came from that same area, which amounted to almost 1/3 of the Egypt now. What happened to all those immigrant that came looking for work? Come time to establish formal rules of citizenship, they didn't want to leave. One Egyptian Yasser Arafat, began the narrative " we have the right to stay, were here first" we lived in the Palestinian Territory, therefore we are the Palestinians. Egypt refused to acknowledge them. Only Israel was left holding the bag. The world came to believe " Jews took land from the Palestinians. Israel gave up more land to become what is Palestine now.

There have been done genetic studies on this. These studies show that the "palestinians" are a mix of...everything. The original hunter-gatherers of Anatolian descent, the arabs who took over the are in the 7th century, and the jews who lived there at the time (some of whom converted to islam). They have nothing to do with the "philistines" from whom they have taken their name. The philistines disappeared from history, but their pottery has been found, and it shares the same characteristics as pottery from the greek world. This is the same era as the great Minoan civilization (Crete), so they probably came from somewhere around there. In other words: The "palestinians" of today are not the original "philistines".

Incomplete video because it does not consider the biblical history of the area. He mentions nothing of the Edomite and their origin and the ancient blood feud that has gone on from Esau and Jacob other Arab come from other lines from other wives of Abraham. I see other questions / comments about a PLACE named Palestine. Where is that place, if it exists? How did the Palestinian people get their name, if they ever did? You don't offer definitions of peoples. What is an Arab, for instance? What is a Bedouin?
Wow, I don’t know where to start in citing all the things wrong with this video so, I will only state that the name “Palestine” as being what the Romans gave to Jordan when they destroyed Jerusalem & the Jews in 70AD after the Jews revolted against Roman rule of the area. The destruction of Jerusalem was predicted by Jesus before he died on the cross. The author of the video needs to do more research on this topic.

I am disappointed with this video. The title states that " THE ORIGINS OF THE PALESTINIANS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE" however in the 13 minutes and 44 seconds of the video the Bible is only referenced once. So explain to me how it according to to the Bible.
This makes sense to me, as we are all human, humans travel, meet ‘marry’ we share ancestry since we could walk, sail, row. Unfortunately humans like to align themselves into clubs and groups, in which they each think their brand, religion, flag, sport, book.. is the best, of course extremists take everything too far.

"The Palestinians are the descendents of the Canaanites" a convenient argument, seeing as the Canaanites were the first know inhabitants of the area. History shows that it is impossible that the Palestinians are related to the ancient Canaanites from 5000 years ago, because the Canaanites were all but wipes out in 1300th century bc by the Israelites, long before Arab presents in the area. The surviving Canaanites were assimilated into the Israelite population, and were gone by the time Arabs migrated to the Land.
