Marimba One ONE VIBE - full unboxing and features!

Helloooo! I recently got a NEW ONE VIBE VIBRAPHONE and I wanted to do a video where I put the whole thing together and talk about some of my favorite features because I love this instrument 💛 I also know from growing up in a place like Montana that if you don't live in an area with a lot of percussion events and percussionists, it can be really hard to know what instruments/gear to get because there are so few videos online giving a full rundown of percussion instruments and their features! So I wanted to add a resource to the interwebs that will hopefully help someone in their search of looking to purchase a new instrument. Rosie, really nice video. I have had my OneVibe for 1.5 years and love it. It just is so perfect! The one thing I wanted to see in your video was what to do with that extra piece of padding that has the velcro on it that is at the top end of the bar case. I know it was used when I received the instrument 1.5 years ago but sure can't remember how it is supposed to be used. Do you remember?

Hi Jerry, sorry for my slow response! That is a really good question, and I am actually not entirely sure. I have always thought it just offers a little bit more protection/height so that the pegs that hold the bars don’t get crushed against the bottom of the case. But the use of Velcro does make it seem like it should have another use. I will ask around and see if I can learn more about it!
