I sweated with Yogi, bucky and Kenny in Bracketville Texas. Sacred lipan lands. To spend the weekend with these men and the aura they carry is amazing. They came to Texas to support the Lipan Apache with songs and dance, and sweat lodge. Sean and Mande absolutely worked hard to make the gathering happen and we showed up and showed out. Strong prayer, songs, and conversations. It was the most surreal experience ive ever encountered in my life. Yogi and sean were so wise and funny, they really carry a special gift. The Mescalero medicine man was there also and from what i was told he was very happy and pleased to see the gathering happen the way it did. The support from Mescalero and white mountain for the lipan descendants was so amazing to witness. We have to get some of our identity back, our arizona and new Mexico brothers are working with us and its Apache unity. Greetings from the Southern plains of Texas.
