This level is for the Discord Gauntlet Creator Contest, and holy frick, this has to be one of the best. Although quality is lacking, there are just so many cool concepts that were put into this. The atmosphere is fantastic here.
Man, I'm so glad I got to see the whole process from start to finish. The good ol' days when Bob would continuously DM me to give him feedback on his boss.. oh boy. Thank you guys for letting me playtest this level as well!
Anyways, spectacular level. ‪@viprin‬, you BETTER play this, this level is just phenomenal
My ratings? Here they are:
Gameplay: 8/10
Easy, sight readable, and enjoyable. There are particularly some unpredictable transitions like the first robot part.
Visuals: 7/10
Overall it's pretty good. However, inconsistencies are seen in certain parts like the castle section, and lack the energy it needs. ADDITIONALLY, the other main problem is that the level uses way too many overscaled objects, which results in clipping.
Bosses: 8/10
It's almost perfect, but the boss for the Heaven route kinda brought it down as the attacks were too repetitive. Also, the movements definitely could've been improved. As for the Hell boss, I love it so much. Attacks are varied, the overall environment is polished, and even the text that shows up ("CAN YOU SEE?") gives the boss somewhat of a personality. It portrays itself as menacing.
Lag: Little to none
For me, I did not lag at all, even when the level is 119301 objects (very close to 120k). Though I'm not so sure about other devices lmfao.
