i was recently givent a french bulldog and found whisky hard to train but also it was 16 years since i last had a puppy so it was both a learning experience for the two of us
I love the bell trick. :-) I’m going to try that with my puppies. I have a 18 month old pug, seven month old French bulldog, and a seven year old Labrador. :-)
True. Sometimes it takes some time to learn tricks. Wait until your dog mature. Especially poodles are so easy to train at 8 weeks & onwards. Frenchies are slow but funny. 😜👍
I love your videos thank you so much they have helped me a lot can you explain to me on one of your videos how you make merles what colors do does it take
Thanks for this video I am excited to try !! Do you have any recommendations on treats for French bull dogs? My frenchie is not a huge fan of eating so using snacks for rewards have been a challenge
Use soft beef or any flavor treats. Make sure they are like chewy treats. My 2 frenchies are picky but they love meat soo the soft treats are like meat. If that makes sense.
my boyfriend just got me a french bulldog and doberman mix, she’s only 5 weeks old and it only took 5 minutes to teach her to sit, after 5 minutes she did it without expecting a treat, she just has problems with her name and potty, she’s kind of picking up on using the puppy pads but this really helped, thank you!
Ditto name and potty training the potty pads don’t work because his little legs are going faster than I can get him to the pad and he’s running right off of it
My frenchie could perform tricks in a circus he spins lays rolls plays dead dances and jumps through hoops...but what I need is him to stop licking dog pee to an extreme level, stop stalking other dogs or buggys, introduce himself properly to other dogs instead of puffing his chest up and getting in their face and wanting to energetically play immediately no intro. Walk past or toward another dog without refusing to move and be calm when people come over. He won't take treats on walks or toys he has 0 interest once he leaves the house and we've tried loads of types of food. His obsessed with other dogs and guests. His been socialised he has a dog he'll spend a week with at a time when we visit my mother in law. At home with the family he's the perfect dog. Has anyone got tips for any of this? I've watched so many dog training videos and shows, I'm persistent and willing to learn. His 5 years old and intact. He knows what I want but he doesn't acknowledge my existence around other dogs.
So far having a Frenchie has been the worst...at least in our case, dumb, destructive, defiant, a bully, sounds and acts like a pig... I don't get why anyone likes these man made beasts.

Ask your vet, Frenchies have so many allergy and gastrointestinal issues it's best to get professional advice for your particular Frenchie.

note i’ve only had her three days and she never had a name or was never expected to respond to anything

How?
Mines 8 weeks, and we've been trying to train it to pee/poo or sit, for over a week and nothing.
I'd love to see pics of this mix
That’s some cruel breeding by the breeder French bulldog and Doberman :/

Do you pracice eye contact + listening to you with playing or affection?
Are you always giving treats after command or only until she gets it???
How do you teach them
To skateboard 🛹
its natural for bulldogs , english or frenchs they all love to shred . put them on to of a skateboard and let he ride it . Its super easy and natural
My dog is 15 weeks old I’ve had him for 4 is it too late to start bell training ??
Mine does high five instead of shake but still has selective hearing :)
My French bull dog..He only 15 months.
He really bad with my older cat,They don’t get alone. Can you give me any suggestions Thx
Have you sat in a room together and had him on a lead?
Having them around eachother in a controlled enviroment helps.
Frenchies are bullies and dumb...not a problem with other dogs!
