Gee was my favorite recruit during his high school days because of the story of him befriending a homeless man in Seattle that wore an Ohio State jacket.
Congrats to the amazing players and great fans of The Ohio State University. I'm one happy die hard Buckeyes fan in Richmond Hill (just north of Toronto) Ontario Canada. O H I O
I finished a trail race in FL yesterday, and as I crossed the finish line a lady there was wearing a Buckeyes hat. I said Go Bucks and she said....OH!!
Wish Jim Knowles well on his next journey. I personally thank him for helping us to THE Natty! WE WILL be fine. It’s our restructure year. Now’s the time to get someone who actually WANTS to be here. JJ Smith/Carnell Tate and friends will obliterate anything Knowles throws out next year. Let’s GO BUCK’S!!!
They were #1 all along like the last few years where Days mismanagement cost them it all! Glad for the boys this year, esp the ones that stayed...well deserved...persevered regardless of Day.
I was one calling for his job after losing to Michigan again. He’s definitely bought more time in my book.. I just pray that he actually learned something from that and didn’t just get lucky with this playoff run. If Day actually learned from it.. then he’s welcome to coach here for life in my book.
Because the criticism he was getting before the playoffs was warranted. The deaths threats and whatnot was definitely crossing the line.. no one or their family deserves to get that for losing any game. But the other criticism was warranted.. 99% of other programs would be thrilled to average 11-12+ wins a year.. but when you’re winning that many games every year and still falling short in the vast majority of big games that matter.. then that’s a problem. Especially when it’s a self inflicted problem.. because none of the games Day has lost were games where we should have lost or games we lost because we were just outplayed.. the Michigan game this year was the perfect example when Day tried to run it up the middle all day to prove a point.. or the loss against Georgia.. Day did everything possible on that last set of downs to make that kick as difficult for Ruggles as he could.. we could have had a kick 10 yards closer or even better and right down the middle but we ended up with a 50 yarder on the hashes with Noah having to kick across his body.. still.. a kick Noah probably makes 8 or 9 times out of 10 but it still should have been an even easier attempt. Then when we’re up.. like in that Georgia game.. the game against Clemson in 2019.. and we saw more of it again these playoffs like against Notre Dame.. when Day gets up 2-3 scores against good teams.. he starts to play not to lose instead of playing to win and it’s cost us in the past. I just hope Day has learned from his mistakes. Still.. having said that.. we largely have been ungrateful for what Day has done for us.. but it’s hard to see that when you think of what we have lost as well when we didn’t need to.. and if it wasn’t for the expanded playoffs this year.. that loss to Michigan would’ve cost us the playoffs.. again.
@@BrentBomgaarsWe’ll be fine. I am positive our other defensive coaches were absorbing everything they could from Jim to prepare for this moment. We’ll be fine.
Ok, you spent 20 million to rebuild the team in hopes of winning the national championship, and it paid off. What did that teach the kids, that money and greed wins championships instead of heart, desire, faith, hard work and team work. And Ohio is always a top rank team and would have certainly got into the playoffs regardless of spending millions, so what does that tell you about Ryan Day? That he has no faith in himself, his coaching staff, or his players 🚫
@afridgetoofar1818 its a little different I think for Day because he was clearly backed into a corner after losing to Michigan for the last 3 years ( 2021-2023 ) Michigan took his faith.
Undisputed National Champions 🏆
Thank you Ryan Day for everything you have done for this program. It’s not always been a smooth ride but we wouldn’t have anyone else!
Congratulations Bucks 👏. Job well done!!!
Well done Buckeyes ! Thanks for the memories! What a great ride!
I’m going to miss the seniors.

love this team and loved them all year not just when they won, support our team and coach always not just when it’s easy! 😊

Literally every team in the playoffs spent as much. That’s the new reality of college football
