Dimple looking like Frieza in this one 😆 We’ve finished Mob Psycho over on Patreon for anyone interested in seeing those reactions early! www.patreon.com/carlie_and_ange
Ange is too good at recognizing this show's story beats. Dimple knows his friend is angry, but at this point Mob is angry at Dimple for doing something that he knows is wrong. But even in this volatile state for both of them, they can still banter and criticize each other's choices in terms of how they name their powers and what they're wearing. Somewhere along the line they became real friends.
If you watch this show and just guess exactly what you'd want to happen in the show with its characters, you will guess everything in this show. Perfection, as it turns out, is predictable.
@@kasualkombat6404 I hate to say it but you're right. I, like many others, was expecting a bombastic fight for the finale but that kinda already happened at the end of season 2 and I really couldn't think of any other antagonist to face at the end. If they presented it and beat it in season 3 it would've felt too rushed and out of nowhere. But as it turns out, this is no ordinary shonen and there's only one person that could be the final boss in such an introspective story as this one is: Mob himself. It's so obvious when you think about it but I didn't see it coming and it's actually the perfect way to bring closure to his character. Shigeo learned to understand and embrace every kind of emotion and in the end all that was left was to face his fear and accept himself. After all, this story is, as ONE himself said, a big story of one small step.
I suppose Carlie is saying she wouldn't like it if Mob forced Dimple into submission, because that would be repeating what happened in season 1 and nothing would have changed. Of course, we know that Dimple isn't forced, but willingly gives up his power - so I'm sure she'll like next episode.
Mob is basically calling bullshit on Dimple's whole operation. I see it as Mob insisting that Dimple is acting out of character and demanding that he explain himself truthfully, while Dimple insists this is exactly who they are and what they are after. This then repeats because Mob is not having it. I think moments like the one where "Godly Dimple" is looking down while he mumbles his spiel gives credence to the idea that Mob is correct, at least on some level.
About the last discussion, and specifically refering to Carlie's opinion about this being the same situation as season 1. Angie is right about this not being the same because of these two main reasons: - In season 1, Dimple was an evil spirit, something that Mob was used to kill and didn't even stop to think about what killing spirits meant yet. Dimple was just an enemy, whereas now, he is humanlike to Mob, even a friend. Mob can't and won't lead with the situation in the same way, plus he also does not think so little about spirits at this point. - Dimple in season 1 was not convinced of anything, he decided all himself. That's because Mob did not try to get through to him, but he just dealt with him. So in this case getting through to him would be the first time that happens.
How it would be a repetion if Mob has never get through Dimple? He just defeated him by brute force and Dimple tag along after that, Mob didn't kill him but Dimple never really "change" to a good guy
teru always stood like that when he was powering up or using his power lol very feminine since the first time when mob encountered him. I find it hilarious and very befitting for this show.
I absolutely get where she is coming from though, whether I agree or disagree with the sentiment, I understand her perspective from a story telling perspective on "defeating dimple again"
@@Maze13 ohh lmao at first i didn't get what you meant i thought you were saying that there's no need to put a spoiler alert because they already watched the ep lolll

@@kasualkombat6404 I think Carlie and Ange are almost in the end of the story on patreon
Ange is way too good with the theories for this anime 😭😭😭
Ange has a good grasp of the characters in here. Dimple is best boi. Also give ONE some credit, he knows how to write a good story hahah
when the monkey theory got dropped i died 💀💀💀
We're so back. Ep 6 is just around the corner :))
It’s season 3 guys come on, Teru always stood with his legs crossed like that when using his powers
Idk why does he do that😂
@@Jerryon60fps Probably subconsciously
@@Jerryon60fps wdym? anime characters always pose when using their powers.
@@Jerryon60fps He looks like he's about to shit himself. I imagine squeezing out his powers feels just about the same for him.

I live for Dimple & Mob’s friendship
Episode 6 next, let's go.❤❤❤

Dimple's VA brought out the AFO voice
You know Akio Otsuka only from MHA?
@@inquisitive6786
No, he's saying he BROUGHT OUT the AFO voice for the scenes in this episode.
@@Un1234l What are you people talking about, he always sounds like AFO, that’s his voice and he’s played villains before
@@inquisitive6786
...We mean he brought out his iconic EXTRA VILLAINY voice that he uses when AFO is going especially villainy

I totally agree with Ange.
dimple MVP next episode
Please drop ep6 soon, I need it 😭
Mob 99%: tell me what you really think
Ekubo: lame shirt
Mob 100%: now you should know pain
