John Deere tractors are always neat, especially since they don't always use the standard Brigs or Tecumseh engines. Very neat video, I love the sound of liquid cooled engines...so much quieter then their air cooled cousins.
Runs just fine. It could use a little power steering fluid by the sound of it. I have one it is a very good lawn mower. she does well for a turd bought in 95
These models are going to surge at idle with no load for emissions purposes. They have manual steering. No power steering fluid needed. The 345 was the first model in this vintage with power steering.
Hey bud! adjust the carb, check the carb bowl,fuel filter,and inside bottem of gas tank. One that I had, had little bit of water in bowl, and gas tank,,,,cleaning it solved the problem... : )
I just bought one of these! The previous owner replaced the hood and changed the decals to the Tiger stipe decal. Mine has the 48” deck! I love it!

These engines are supposed to be warmed up for 3-4 minutes and allowed to cool down for 30 seconds.
