In...Credible. Thanks to whoever posted this. I took Gerstner for Jonathan Edwards back in Seminary and now to have access to this venerable Giant is Incredible. Belly up to the bar and slake your thirst in Classic Reformed Theology with Dr. Gerstner! Wooo hoooo!~
A bible teacher in the highest order. I am blessed listening and learning from this teacher. I think , if he were still alive, he could take down that “new perspective on Paul “ by n.t. Wright and show that n.t. Wright is wrong.
Your 7th point is total heresy. Grace enables us to fulfil the law? How? BY OUR WORKS? In order to fulfill the law, one must be PERFECT, and WITHOUT SIN. Can you find me a Christian, including the man in this video who has done this? I can only think of one. His name is Jesus Christ. He FULFILLED THE LAW for us. It is through HIM that the law is fulfilled. You spent 28 mins speaking truth, to at the 28 min mark totally contradict everything you just got done saying by saying we have to keep the law to be saved.
@@andrewforrest6879 The man literally said “You are not saved by keeping the law, but if you aren’t keeping the law you aren’t saved.” That is nothing but works salvation disguised as something else.
See romans 8:12 and 13 as well as Galatians 5 : 16 and following. Gerstner has it right. Salvation is by faith alone but it is never unaccompanied by the Spirit leading us to put sin to death.
@@Tinyhatsarebad Tell that to the man in Corinthians sleeping with his fathers wife. Tell that to those Paul is speaking to in 1 Corinthians 3 who he calls carnal babes in Christ because of their sin. Never once does he deny their salvation or the presence of the Spirit. You have misunderstood these passages. We don’t become robots once we are saved. You still sin. Everyday.
Gerstner was one of a kind, may his fruits continue to lighten men into divine truth
"How can I, unless one expound it for me?" Very thankful for learned minds in Christ.
Oh that more men who stand behind the pulpit, would preach and teach the pure Gospel. Thank you Dr. Gerstner for your amazing lessons.🙏

I can't wait for the other sermons on Galatians. Thank God for the life and teachings of the late John Gerstner
I’m sorry, but can we stop and take a second to admire Gerstner’s sideburns? Absolutely top notch
Great solid biblical teaching!
Astounding!!!!!
It just make me rethinking the wrong impact of New Perspective on Paul.
Thanks lovely man of God 👍🇮🇩♥️

I am certain he is talking about believers fulfilling God’s commandments out of love and grace, while combatting antinomianism
