I think bc of the way it is set out it is easy... in another quiz, it said 'add these numbers together without a calculator or working out: 1000, 20, 30, 1000, 1030,1000 and 20" So people think 1000,1020, 1050, 2050, 3080, 4080. Then, when you add the twenty in your head, some people might get confused and say 5000 instead if 4100 bc 5000 is a more rounded number.

That answer is wrong and so was the presenters, he said add the numbers together, what is there is 7 groups of numbers, never asked for the sum of all the values

I remember seeing that last question a while ago but with the numbers next to each other. Putting them under each other like that makes it much easier.

How do you get 5000 for the the last one? I got I correct number and was like no that was too easy I know it's some kind of trick. Lol
I'm not positive, but maybe they thought the smaller numbers equal 1000 instead of 100.
Maybe some people's minds try to think fast and quickly assume that all the double digit numbers combined equaled 1000 since you've looked at 4 of them already. Not sure though and thought that was extremely easy as well

happens when you are to lazy to calculate. I added the the 1000s together. Then 30+30 and then 20+20.
So I had 4000+60+40. For me it wasn't possible to think that 60+40 = 1000.
Kaisei F I don't see how that's possible though. Are you guys just assuming? Maybe I'm just hoping people can do basic math, but I would think someone would make a mistake in the hundreds or below, like 60 or 80, or maybe accidentally 120 or something, but to add up 1000 with those? I think that's a bit of a stretch. Haven't read one comment yet saying they calculated 5000. Doesn't seem like people mind sharing what they got wrong. Anyway, that just made me go WTH? Lol that was too easy.

2. The 20 story building is made out of 20 story books.
3. You use 1 glass to move the other ones.
4. This one I got correct, you don't bury the survivors.
