Hi! That’s just a personal head cannon based off other depictions of Macaque where he has white fur, and then after his death it becomes black and I chose to include that to show the past/present more clearly
in the original book Macaque is callled The Six Eared Macaque which can symbolize some of his characteristcs that the CN show LMK have since changed which is probably why he doesnt have six ears in that show design
