@@ajgamingcomparisons testing multiple machines like this and editing it all together is already a huge amount of work, so mistakes are going to slip through the cracks no matter what. love the videos im always curious about power usage.
True, specially this type of scenes. This is a total of 12 streams in one picture and 3-4 custom made effects on top. Nevertheless I want to deliver an accurate video but yes sometimes it happens. Thanks.
@@ajgamingcomparisons as long as the viewers know it is an error then everything is good. looking forward to seeing how the playstation consoles fare against xbox.
Absolutely informative video. I've wondered what it takes to get the resolution and fps information from these consoles. Do you need to use any external devices to capture this info?
It is pretty straightforward honestly. You need to have a capture device that does not use any type of compression (most don’t). Via OBS you record losless quality (up to 7GB per minute). After recording you can analyze with Trdrop (open source and available on Github). Resolution is being done by counting borders, Digital Foundry has a tutorial video on this. Hope this make sense. Take care.
0:57, Why does the Xbox One X look better than the rest? Is there an error? Look at the landscape by the stairs vs the Series S & X and it blows them out of the water!
Honestly disappointed with the difference between One S and Series X, only real difference is frame rate with a minor graphical difference that in gameplay would be barely noticeable. Real shame. The fact that this game has a series S/X version feels wrong. Only thing that adds is quick resume which is nice but would have liked some upgraded graphics too. I'm not a massive strickler for graphics and play competitive shooters mostly so typically turn down settings anyway but I couldn't help but be disappointed when playing on Series X and just noticing how meh it looks while playing (I still love the game and am dumping many hours into it). Just crazy how graphicly no real improvements have been made when I know the game can do better (PC version).
I don’t know if this is a game to compare. But it’s minor differences. Not worth $500 imo. Your eyes can only see so good should have just kept last gen consoles.
It was a patch at that time and not really developed with "next-gen" (a.k.a. current-gen). If you look at newer videos we see bigger differences in terms of graphics comparison. Take care.
@@ajgamingcomparisons nice man. I’ll have to check it out…if it’s a big difference I’ll def upgrade.. but I’m still rocking the original Xbox one right now. Thanks
I played snowrunner on pc epic version which is laggy hard then i subscribe the xbox games pass test out the snowrunner windows 10 version and it was very smooth.
There is an issue with the power consumption effect like Jude Price pointed out but it is not 100% fully utilized. Nevertheless at 1080P with FidelityFX CAS it looks extremely good.
the efficiency of the series s continues to impress me. using less electricity for double the framerate. shame that they couldnt do the same thing for the series x vs one x.
SX and OX are usually pushing double the resolution, hence power draw. SS is great, and would be an absolute steal if it wasn't digital only, or at least the digital prices were the same as on Steam.
@@paulmckenzie2232 would of been great if the series x could also double one x performance for the same power consumption but i guess with higher end chips it's just not possible at the moment. maybe rdna3 will manage it?
4:20 i think something messed up here with the power consumption thing.
I pinned your comment that isn’t right indeed, so many edits going on it is a mistake. Thanks for pointing it out, appreciate it.
It sits at around 69-72W, unsure what happened.

They beed to optimize the game for the new gen, How an Xbox one s is has better graphics that Xbox series s and he don't have half of his power ?
They removed HDR in game on the new consoles.

Séries S has more than 4 Times the power of One S however the only thing they could do was double the framerate.
the gpu is about twice as fast. so it makes sense to double the framerate.
