Well bro you can do gp rating courses ...if u wanna become officer u can do dns or bsc in Nautica sc. Dns is 1 year course and bsc is 3yrs course ...but keep in mind to do get a sponsorship before joining any college.
If u would have done btech in mechanical engg it would have easy for u like in that case u have to do gme course for which IMS Goa is considered best .

As your qualification.. You should go for DNS it's cadet course... Gp rating is course for crew.
