Really, it's all about Matthew 6:19. “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:” and Colossians 3:2. “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” It's about never searching for any true security in anything that this world has to offer, but inside to see the truth in Hebrews 11:13. “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” The realization that we are here to serve the Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of God, no matter the circumstances we are placed in or the possible consequences to ourselves. Until we go home.
