How to install Sharp AR-5316e/AR-5320e printer & scanner driver using its full feature driver

    Just for your information. I was able to install this device on my PC using Windows 7 64 bit. The customer support confirmed me that it is not possible to install any scanner funciton usingt this type of printer. It's very very old. "You were lucky to install the printer function on Windows 7" by Customer Support.

    This is an old model printer, under Printer's Supported Operating systems from the links provided , Windows 10 is clearly not one of them, you will however install but can't share it on LAN, it will misbehave with a beep sound every other second as comment by Jamiryo. So AR-5316 Printer/MFP is Fully compatible to only Windows 7 and it's ancestors

    Hello, when i connect my Sharp AR-5316e printer to my Windows 10 laptop via a usb cable Windows acts like i'm removing and re-inserting the usb cable every 3 second and i keep hearing the usb insert and remove sound from the Windows. I installed the driver succesfully but i can't use my printer because of this. Could you please help me ? I don't have this problem when i connect it to a windows 7 laptop (using the same exact usb cable)

      Sure, I will help you with that.
      If your computer says that the USB cable keeps disconnecting and connecting. It seems like there is a problem with either the USB driver or it might be with the USB port of your laptop itself.
      Try the following solution and let me know the results:
      Solution1: Go to device manager and then go to "Universal Serial Bus Controllers", there you will find "USB Printing Support", you just need to right-click on that and uninstall it and reboot your computer.       Solution 2: Try connecting your printer's USB cable to another port of your computer.
      That's it!!

      the contact with the usb keeps turning on and off, it doesn't work even after this installation :(

      I am giving you two more solutions for this, please try it out and let me know.
      Solution 3: Disconnect the USB cable of your printer from the computer's USB port, then press the USB cable connector with your thumb gently, so that the outer wall of the USB connector can be pressed inside. Do the same thing with the other side connector of the USB cable. We are doing that because the USB cable can be connected to the computer's USB port more tightly this time.
      Solution 4: Replace the USB cable with the new one.

      I already did this, replaced the cable and tried other sockets for that, and I put a flash drive in the same socket and it worked

    Hello, I installed this program, but when I updated my computer, the program did not run on my computer, does that mean I should not update my computer?

      Yes, there is a problem with the new Windows update. Kindly uninstall the update for now and you may try it later on.

      @@SetPrinter is this printer - AR 5316e the same with AR 5316? You know its a copier but with printer & scanner capabilities.

      @@SetPrinter I have downlaoded the driver for AR 5316 but it doesn''t have a setup.exe file, that is the application file where I can install from. I downloaded it several times but still didnt show in the downloaded files. I don't know what else to do.
